What are some of the Islamic religious practices and why do they follow these practices?

Understanding about the Islam religion and its practices are of interest to me. It relates to the global context because you hear negative
things about the faith from the media and we want to find the truth about the Islamic religion. The Islamic religion is the second most
popular religion in the world and I want to know why people practice it.

They try to please god by being nice to

neighbors,doing good, deeds and it helps people
understand their motives of why they need to do good
deeds. It helps guide them to what is right from wrong.

When and where do Islamic people

worship?

Muslims pray five times a day. They pray at dawn,

midday, the late part of the afternoon, just after sunset,
and late evening. Muslims can pray anywhere but they
typically go to a mosque to pray together. All Muslims
face east toward Mecca.

Who is there god?

The god is referred as Allah. According to the

Muslims, god has created the earth and all things.

This web site is a non profit organization. The site has a variety of
information about the religion of Islam It has about 50 articles on
varies topic of the Islamic religion. I have use about 5 articles for my
information. The site has many videos, documentaries, and
discussions about Islam religion. The site has personal experiences
that muslims have had. The articles have very good reviews from
people who have use the site for school work. The site was made by
a doctor who has devoted his life to study the Islamic religion.
