NEW approach will be launched soon

Meanwhile formulated powders are stored @ 40C for 1 year

No overstoichometrical ratio needed

Similar handling like standard PUR coatings
A proper polyester selection is needed to ensure good levelling properties
Even 140C is possible by using acid scavengers

Dry film thickness (DFT) !

Under normal extrusion conditions VESTAGON EP-B 1190

does not melt
Depending on the polyester used (which could have a
dissolving effect) the following extrusion conditions are
suggested as a guideline
Extruder: Werner and Pfleiderer ZSK-30
Barrel temp (zone 1/zone2): 130C/130C
Speed: 900 rpm
Grind: Fritsch P 14
Sieve: Retsch; 63 m
Alternatively: Grinding of the crosslinker 1st

Maximum particle size of the coating used

correlates to the achievable DFT

A maximum particle size of ~ 60m results in

a closed coating surface @ 20m DFT
