To introduce the basic concepts of transmission line parameters.


To clearly understand the concepts of performance of transmission lines.
To clearly understand the basic concepts of the power system transients and various factors
governing the performance of transmission lines.
To introduce different types of insulators of overhead lines, sag and tension calculations.
To introduce the concept of underground cables.

To understand the concept of circuit elements, DC and AC electrical circuits

To acquire knowledge in basic laws of electricity, instruments to measure the electrical

To know different methods to solve the electrical networks.

To know about the concepts of construction operational features of energy conversion
