Location of Employment
Principal work location will be in the United Arab Emirates(UAE). You will be required
to work at any location and in any project in the IJAZ as advised by your Direct Line
Manager.
Your
Site inspections in UAE as leave replacement as and when required. Also you could
be transferred to any long term site projects on a diff'event contract if agreeable to
both parties

Main Accountabilities
The work will involve monitoring the lubrication/construction activities carried out by the
EPC contractor in the yard/site location and ensure that all activities are carried out as per
the client's project specification. The entire liltertek Team will be reporting to the PMC
and Client Team on site
Irrespecti'i'e of the duration of }'our employment, this contract mal' be terminated bl'
the methods explained below:
a. By the Company without notice if the employee is absent without pemlission for

Basic salary valid I'or working 8 hrs a day, 6 days a week, 48 hours in the \l.,eek
and 208 hours in the month is AED 7.869
Your lump sumtotal salary including the 52 hours fixed overtime in the month is
AED 10,000. This is the amount that will be paid ever)' month.
Over time, then the Over Time Hours 'worked bel'ond 52 hours will be paid

The o'v'er-timeis paid as per the basic salary
You will be personally responsible for payment of income tax, whether in UAE or in your
home country. At the presenttime, there is no personalincome tax in the UAE.
You \-.'ill be paid an amountof AED 4,000 per month as allowance.No other
amount will be paid. With this amoi.int, you have to manage your
Messing/Accommodationand all living expenses.Irrespective of the location of
your accommodation in UAE, you ale required to attend inspections, wherever
required in UAE. No other reimbursable expenseswill be paid.
Irrespective of the location of your accomn)odationin UAE, you are required to
attend call-of'l' inspections or residency inspections, wherever required in UAE

The company will pay an allowance of AED 1,500 per month (including petrol
expenses). There is no separate petrol allowallce which will be paid.

Travel Hours
The tra\ el hours for Residency and Call-off assignnlcnts will be paid as per the discretion
Dfthe management.It is not mandatoryto pay fbr travel hours lbr }'our assignment.
Also if you are in a long teal residentassignment,the companyw;ill not pay for
your navel hot.trsdaily irrespectiveof the location of your assignment
(i.e. Since in a ]'esidentassigmllent, your location of' work is fixed. the company
wi[[ not pay for your travel hours separately).
If you ale placed on temporary site assignmentsas lea\e belief. the client w-'ill
provide messing and accommodation on site and transportation on site. During this
period (tbr tile days spent on site), the collapanycai' would be witlldrawn. This

be reinstated alter you complete your site assignment.
Eft'active from ls' August 2016, the following leave cycle formula 'will apply
e Your leave cycle would be 4 months' v\'ork on site followed by 12 calendar days
leave. This is a paid leave.
The leave days include the tran;el days and is paid leave. You will be entitled to one
economy class return ticket ta your point of origin fbr cacll leave ]'citation (whine\ er you
go on your eligible leave). The company will issue tile ticket. Any miscellaneous costs will
not be paid 6or each leave cycle. The leave cycle calculation will start coin the day you
start the assignment as per the timesheet.
You haveto be flexible with your leavecycle to suit client's needsand asu'ell as Intertek's
Operational needs. Whenever required you will be required to postpone your lea'vein order
to accommodate
the client and job requirements.You will be working with a teamof
Intertek Inspectors.Therefore you have to be flexible with your leal'e cycle.
Any emergencyor persona]leave shall be treated as part of your rotational leave, which
shall be adjustedaccordingly.

Repatriation
At the end ot'your employment, you will be entitled to receive an eitd-of-service indemnity
Medical Insurance
The Company will provide you witl} }lealth Insuranceas per the Cotllpany's Insurance
Police'in compliancewith UAE law
the United Arab Emirates. It is your responsibility to be av\arc of United Arab Ejnimtes
HSE rules and local customs. Any breach of rules will be dealt with serial.idlyby Company

Confidentiality
Technical and other matterspertaining to any assignmentsperformed by you sllall not be
disclosed to anyone except to }ntertek and to the Client either during the tenure of contract
or after the completion the same unless authorized in writing by Intcrtek
Details of salary and other arrangementsare confidential between Intertek and yourself.
and should not be disclosedto anyoneincluding the clients.
The administration of tills contract will be according to the United Arab Emirates Labour
Law
