Objective 1: To learn how to properly manage a classroom

Activities/Resources:
-Through working in the classroom for a certain amount of hours a week
-Reviewing the classroom management styles not just with my supervisor but with her
coworkers, and the students as well
-Spend as much time as I can working on my own and getting feedback from my supervisor
about things I am doing well, or could be doing better
Evidence: I will include in my final project a breakdown of different techniques I have learned
on how to manage a classroom.
Objective 2: To learn different styles of teaching within groups or with individuals based on
their specific needs
Activities/Resources:
- By overlooking my supervisor as she works in small groups
- By taking into count what my supervisor is doing and working in groups in similar ways
-Acknowledging the children and the teaching styles that are most effective for their learning
abilities
-By working on groups and with individual students on my own
Evidence: I will use different teaching styles and work with different groups. I will record my
observations and thoughts on each style of teaching to help me better my understanding and
write about this in my final portfolio.
Objective 3: To build a relationship with the students that is based off of honesty, trust, and
comfort.
Activities/Resources:
-By working one-on-one with each student and getting to know them personally
-By showing that I care and am interested in the work they have done, and what they have to say
about it
Evidence: In my portfolio I will have sections that are written reflections of my relationships
with students, as well as my supervisors thoughts on how I am doing building relationships.
Objective 4: To make connections with others in the district that I will benefit from having
following graduation
Activates/Resources:
-By meeting other teachers and building useful relationships
-By taking advice from everyone that I meet and showing my interest in this field of work

Evidence: I will reflect on the people I have met and the insights I have gained about this work
place. I will continue to reach out to others and keep a steady work based relationship with
whom I am able to following graduation.

Internship Details:
Duties include: Working in small groups/ 1-on-1 with the students, focusing mostly on reading
and writing, and their comprehension of each text.
Evaluation Methods: Completion of University evaluation forms. Weekly informal feedback
from my supervisor.
Expected Work Schedule:
