Emerson offers product training classes to
ensure that customers get the most out of their
new gas chromatographs, liquid analytical
sensors and analyzers, and process gas
analyzers. Courses consist of small classes in
hands-on sessions, with one-on-one time with
instructors. These workshops are the quickest,
most economical way to learn critical skills to
help you operate your Emerson gas
chromatographs, process gas analyzers, liquid
analyzers, and combustion analyzers.
Standard training courses are held in Houston,
TX, Irvine, CA and Solon, OH throughout the
year, and at customer sites as requested.

Keep your engineers, technicians, and operators at the top

of their game with customizable SureService training
programs.

Formal classes are performed in a classroom

setting. Classes last from four to eight hours,
depending on the measurements covered and
instrumentation selected. These classes are
designed to expand students sensor / analyzer /
gas chromatograph measurement knowledge,
explain how to properly configure the analyzer to
meet the plants monitoring and control needs.
For liquid measurements, the student will learn
how to properly calibrate and care for the
sensor, and how to use diagnostic variables to
troubleshoot problems and schedule routine
maintenance or sensor replacement.

Customized Training Modules

We also offer customized courses at your site or
in our training labs. Customized courses are
limited to your personnel, and will be taught by a
factory-trained and certified Rosemount
Analytical field service engineer with years of
experience working on analyzers and
instruments. Each customized course will be
tailored in terms of content, application focus,
and duration to best fit your specific needs.
Informal classes are performed at the
customers site using installed products. This is
a great way for plant personnel to learn through
experience to configure, commission, and
perform calibration on their online
instrumentation under the guidance of a certified
field engineer expert. Class duration is
dependant on the analyzer and measurements
being covered.
Virtual courses are available over the Internet for
selected courses on a per-hour basis where a
certified training expert will explain the proper
way to configure, commission, calibrate, and
troubleshoot a measurement loop. Recipients
must have a computer with high-speed access
to the Internet in order to take this class. Virtual
classes are a great way to receive training
without the expenditure of travel. Classes are
performed via live video webcast on the
analyzer and measurement of your choice.
