Hi

SAP comes with three standard clients: 000, 001, and 066. Client 000 contains a simple organizational
structure of a test company and includes parameters for all applications, standard settings, configurations for
the control of standard transactions and examples to be used in many different profiles of the business
applications. For these reasons, 000 is a special client for the R/3 system since it contains the
clientu2212independent settings.

Clients
Client 001 is a copy of the 000 client, including the test company; if this client is configured or customized, its
settings are clientu2212dependent. It does not behave like 000. It is reserved for the activities of preparing a
system for the production environment. SAP customers usually use this client as a source for copying other
new clients.
Client 066 is reserved for SAP access to its customers' systems to perform the Early Watch service.

Hi,

000: SAP standard client

This client is used to set up new "neutral" clients by client copy. Do not change or delete this client.

001: SAP standard client

This client is used to set up new "neutral " clients by client copy.

066: Early Watch Client

This client is purely a service client that enables SAP to access remotely the customer system with
regard to analyzing errors and performance. You must not change or delete this client.

Hello,
I would like to refine what's already been said a bit:
000 - is the initial client, which comes with some customization/data that you'd ordinarily
need in a new client you set up for yourself. You cannot delete it. In addition, it's the client
where some system actions must be taken, such as Support Package imports, TMS
settings and some others.
001 - is a client that can be used as your client instead of copying a new client for yourself.
066 - the Earlywatch client - To be used by SAP to login to your system from remote and
retrieve monitoring data for Earlywatch services.

Important: Cross client customization has nothing to do with 000, it can be done in your
own client.

Best regards,

Daniel

Client 000 is an Sap standard client 001 is an copy of an 000 client .066 is early watch report

early watch client(066) is used by SAP personnel for

preventive maintenance. they carried out regular
performance check and analyze the system for
potential
problem and help the system manager and SAP
administrator
to tune the system to realize the full potential.soon
after
the early watch session SAP sends the customer a
report
with the result of the analysis and recomendations
for
avoiding potential problem such as tablespace
bottleneck,
shortage of system parameter and buffer tunning.
