NOTIFICATION
As per the directions of Honble High Court of A.P., three (3) unfilled VCI quota seats
of B.V.Sc. & A.H course in SVVU for 2016-17 (SVU/OC/NF=1, AU/BC-D/F=1, AU/OC/NF=1)
are proposed to be filled with All India Pre Veterinary Test 2016 (AIPVT) Ranks only based
on merit

on 26.11.2016 at 10.30 A.M. at Auditorium, Regional Agricultural Research

Station, Lam, Guntur. All the eligible candidates who appeared in AIPVT-2016 conducted
by Veterinary Council of India (VCI), New Delhi and candidates who have applied to
ANGRAU earlier based on AP EAMCET 2016 Ranks, who have also AIPVT ranks are only
eligible for counseling. They should attend along with proof of AIPVT 2016 rank.
Candidates with AIPVT 2016 ranks are required to attend the counseling with duly
filled in application form (downloaded from University website, www.angrau.ac.in ) along
with original certificates and Demand Draft for Rs.1100/- towards the registration fee drawn
on any Nationalized Bank in favour of COMPTROLLER, ANGRAU payable at
GUNTUR.

The Candidates who have already applied ONLINE to ANGRAU with

AP EAMCET 2016 rank, who also have AIPVT 2016 ranks are required to attend with a
copy of online application and with a proof of AIPVT 2016 rank. The candidates should
report at the Counseling centre one hour before the scheduled time.

Forms required for the candidates eligible under Farmers Quota seats
a.

FORM-I: It is a proforma indicating the patta numbers and extent of land


owned by the candidate / parents duly certified by the Mandal Revenue
Officer / Tahsildar with office seal (or) the candidate has to enclose
attested xerox copies of pattadar pass book as an evidence of the extent of
land.

b. Form-II: It is a proforma to be certified by the Head Master of the School


with office seal that the candidate has studied for a minimum period of four
years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas during their period of
study from 1st class to 12th class / Intermediate (Non-Municipal Area
Certificate).
c. Form-I and Form-II need to be filled in with the signatures of concerned
officials viz., Mandal Revenue Officer / Tahsildar and concerned Head of
Institution, respectively, along with office seal. Otherwise, the claim of the
candidates under this category will be summarily rejected.
8) Enclose D.D for Rs.1,100/- in favour of Comptroller, ANGRAU towards the
registration fee (Non-refundable).

INFORMATION BROCHURE
Eligibility:
A pass in two year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of
Intermediate Education, A.P. or any other examination recognized as equivalent
thereto by the University or Board of Intermediate Education with the following
subjects namely:
i) Physical Sciences
ii) Biological or Natural Sciences
A candidate must have passed in each of the subjects of English, Biology,
Physics & Chemistry and obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these
subjects at the qualifying examination.

Age:
The candidates for admission to these courses shall be required to have completed
17 years of age on 31st December, 2016 of the year of admission with an upper age
limit of 22 years.

Reservation of seats for the candidates coming from families of Agriculturist cum
Rural Area (Farmers Quota) :
Under Farmers Quota candidates coming from families of Agriculturists (Farmers)
owning not less than 3 acres of land either in the name of the parents or in the
name of the candidate and who have studied for a minimum of 4 years in
schools located in Non-Municipal areas are eligible. If the land is owned by
grandfather, grandmother or guardian or any other relations is not acceptable.

with office seal recently (or) the candidate has to enclose attested xerox copies of

Criteria for selection:


The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks
obtained by the candidates in the AIPVT 2016.
In case of a tie in ranks obtained by two or more candidates in the
AIPVT 2016, the marks secured in the optional subjects of the qualifying examination
shall be taken into consideration. In case of a further tie, the age of the candidate
shall be taken into consideration.

Fee: The particulars of fees are given hereunder for ready reference. The candidates who
are granted admission shall pay the prescribed fees at the time of joining the college
and hostel.
