Ai-Ai delas Alas keeps hands off latest marital problem of Kris Aquino and James Yap

puwedeng makialam," said Ai-Ai delas Alas
when asked about the new marital problem of her
best friend Kris Aquino and husband James Yap.

Ai-Ai delas Alas has definitely learned her

lesson. Now, she is very careful in giving
comments about the reported marital problem of
her best friend Kris Aquino with basketball
superstar James Yap.

 "Natuto na ako," she told PEP (Philippine

Entertainment Portal) and other media at the
press conference of her newest ABS-CBN sitcom
with Aga Muhlach, M3 (Malay Mo Ma-develop),
held yesterday, June 23, at the Dolphy Theater of ABS-CBN.

 It can be recalled that Ai-Ai had a rift with Kris's husband when she commented ("Isoli mo na sa
nanay niya") about a previous misunderstanding of the couple.

 Instead of giving a comment this time, Ai-Ai just related how she immediately comforted her
close friend when she found out about her problem. "Siyempre, sinabi ko sa kanya, 'Friendship
[Kris], nandito lang ako,'" the comedienne said.

 Then, Ai-Ai explained why she's avoiding any further comment on the issue. "Ang away mag-
asawa, huwag tayong makialam kasi away nila 'yon. Hayaan nating sila ang umayos ng problema
nila. Nandito lang ako para suportahan si Friendship," she said.

 It would also be hard for Ai-Ai because after her rift with James, the two have become friends. 

 "Kaibigan ko na sila pareho," said Ai-Ai. "Bati na kami ni James, so kaibigan ko na rin siya.
Ako, sinasabi ko, I wish them well at sana kung may nangyayari, maayos nila. Masarap kasi
'yong may kasama ka sa buhay. And isa si Kris Aquino na blessed dahil sa bukod sa sikat siya,
kumpleto ang pamilya niya."

The Comedy Queen also took this opportunity to ask the public to give the couple their privacy
so they could resolve the issue on their own.
 She said, "Siyempre, all-out support ako. In fairness to James, all-out support kung ano 'yong
pinagdadaanan nila ngayon. Bigyan natin sila ng time and I think dapat patahimikin natin sila.
Hayaan natin silang... Kasi, mahirap ang pinagdadaanan ng isang taong may-asawa. Personal
'yon, e."

 Ai-Ai also said that she cannot give an advice to her best friend because she has no idea about
the exact detail of their problem. So, instead, Ai-Ai just said, "At this point, sinabi ko sa kanya,
'Ipagpe-pray kita.' At saka sinabi ko sa kanya, 'Nandito lang ako.' Mahirap magpayo kasi, unang-
una, hindi naman tayo ang nasa posisyon niya. Hindi natin alam kung ano 'yong nararamdaman
niya. So, hayaan na lang nating 'yong mag-asawa ayusin kung ano ang pinagdadaanan nila."

 As of yesterday, according to Ai-Ai, Kris has not yet returned to their home. "Sa pagkakaalam
ko, hindi pa. Pero i-pray natin na magkaayos sila," the comedienne requested.
