studyismoreimportantthanstricttiming,andIwouldsuggestnotkeeping
yourselftoa2minutelimitlikethat.Asyouprogressandgetstronger,
imposingtimingcanhelp,butIstilldontrecommendholdingeachquestionto
2minutes.Instead,setupasection(orhalfsection!)ofpracticeproblemsfor
yourselfandworkwithinthemorefreeconstraintsofthetest.Thatmeansthat
youmightsitdowntodo2021verbalproblemsin3738minutes(ahalf
verbalsection).
Thisisbetterbecausesomequestionsneedmorethan2minutes,butthis

Theupdatedstudyplanswillbesimilartothecurrentversions,butdifferent
enoughthatitwouldbechallengingtomoveseamlesslyfrom,say,week4in
thecurrentplantoweek5intheupdatedplan.
Illbesuretokeepthecurrentplansavailableforanother6monthsorso,so
thatanystudentwhowishestostickwiththeplanthathe/shestartedwithcan
dosowithoutanyissues.
Myadvicewouldbetokeeppreppingwiththestudyplanthatyoustartedwith.
Myevenbetteradvicewouldbetolookthroughbothplans(currentand
updated)carefully,andfigureouthowyoucanadapttheupdatedversionina
waythatwouldallowyoutomovefromthecurrentversiontothenewversion
withoutmissingoutonanytopics.Thatwayyoucanusetheupdatedmaterials,

MagooshandinOG,itisobviousthatyougetbadresultsinthebeginningsince
practicequestionscoverallthetopicswhileyouarewaybehindintermsoftopics
coveredbyvideo.
ExamplebasedonascheduleyoucouldcovervideolessonsforGeometryonly
during4thweekofstudies,whileyougetgeometryquestionsfromday1.
bythetimeyouhavewatchedallvideolessonsyouhaveansweredalmostall
questions,majorityofthemincorrectlysincequestionsprecededvideolessons,asa
resultyourdashboardscorelooksbad.

wanttostriveontheGMAT,ifyouwanttobesuccessfulinthislifepath,you

havealittlemoretimeandsincemathisyourissue,plantowatcheachofthe
mathlessonvideosTWICEwatchthewholeseriesfromstarttofinish,and
then,afteryouhaveseenallthevideosonce,gofromstarttofinishthrough
theseriesagain.Also,Iwouldrecommendreadingallthemathrelatedarticles

Idefinitelyrecommendthatyoupostponeyourexamandfollowthisstudy
schedulereligiously.Also,donottouchacalculatorbetweennowandwhenever
youtaketheGMAT:allmathyouneedtodo(balancecheckbook,estimatetips,
etc.)youshoulddoinyourhead.Youhavetopracticementalmatharithmetic
everyday,tobuildthatmuscle.Readthematharticlesonthisblog:Idiscuss
severalmathtricksyoucanusetospeedupmentalmath.
