CRO Change
CRO Change is responsible to deliver the strategic and regulatory CRO Change portfolio sponsored by the Risk division and
partner with CRO, IT, Front Office and Finance teams for driving business optimization. Credit Suisse is addressing demands of
a changing regulatory landscape through the global Change Programs and CRO Change team plays a critical role in meeting the
aggressive and time-critical book of work. CRO Change offers a great learning platform to learn various facets of risk,
investment banking products and risk systems and processes that are a key part of a banks operations.
CRO Change location strategy includes setting a Center of Excellence in India with responsibility to deliver various aspects of
key business programs supporting Market risk, Credit Risk, Risk Data and Reporting.
CRO Change team is accountable for:
Delivery of the regulatory CRO Change portfolio sponsored by the Risk division and other stakeholders across the
investment banking and other divisions of the bank
Delivering strategic programs which drive business optimization across the Risk division
Tactical maintenance of current processes and systems through delivering Books of Work
Supporting the Risk division by defining its 3-5 year Target Operating Model
Providing the Subject Matter Expertise in risk processes and systems for execution of IT and business projects
Specific functions performed by the staff in CRO Change are in the areas of business analysis, testing, and project
management. Listed below are some key activities in these roles (new recruits would be expected to perform several of the
activities listed below per their skills and performance):
Business Analysis
Serving as a liaison between program managers and business SMEs to identify, define and accurately document
business/data requirements
Developing strategies for gathering, reviewing and analyzing business/data requirements
Capturing and articulating the as-is business processes, identifying problems and inefficiencies and defining business
requirements for process improvements
Developing recommendations on best practice and design solutions for process improvements
Partnering with IT to deliver solutions to business requirements which align to the Target Operating Model (TOM)
Implementing advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing and analyzing business/data requirements
Identifying, managing and escalating, where appropriate, project risks and issues associated with requirements gathering,
analysis and design
Identifying a forward looking plan of business requirements
Writing front to back functional specifications
Using Design/ Architecture governance forums and processes effectively
Delivering test specifications, in cooperation with Test Analyst/ Test Manager
Developing test cases for UAT

Project Management
Leading on projects and initiatives as and when required
Developing, implementing and maintaining the overall Project Management Plan, incl. risk & issue management and
communications plans
Defining project scope, approach, resourcing and planning. Ensuring actuals are tracked against budgets.
Measuring and monitoring progress of project
Developing the project business case
Acting as an escalation point for the teams work
Planning & coordinating all activities (e.g. go-live strategy, training, migration, physical infrastructure, etc.) to lead transition
to BAU
Stakeholder management
Communication & Training to user (e.g. Roadshow, Release notes, User documentation)
Management of Requests/BRDs, change control process and release prioritization
Managing/ controlling/ tracking the necessary change processes, policies, manuals, directive, TOM
Planning & coordinating all activities (e.g. go-live strategy, training, migration, physical infrastructure, etc.) to lead transition
to BAU
Testing
Determining the UAT strategy for project/program
Managing the preparation and execution of UAT for project/program
Planning, controlling, assuring and improving testing activities
Identifying and escalating risks and issues to senior management
Engage in Testing Capability groups across CS group to drive bankwide consistency and best practice
Performing a holistic review of test planning
Developing and refining test steps and test cases for new functionality covering all required scenarios and requirements
Developing business requirements documentation, test plans, test results (incl. impact analysis)
Walkthrough of test results and impact analysis with stakeholders
Providing regular updates to team on testing progress

Qualifications
Desirable:
VBA, SQL knowledge
Strong analytical skills to identify the scope of issues and ability to provide appropriate solutions
Ability to work with large volumes of data using spread sheet and Database Query tools (MS Excel and Access)
