Before manipulating or making any sight adjustments, place the safety in the on safe position,
remove the magazine, open the action and ensure the chamber is empty as explained in Section
15.1 of your Owners Manual. Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Failure to
follow these warnings may result in serious injury or death
2.1 Installation Instructions; Flip sight up for easier installation.
Be sure to pull back on the charging handle before sliding onto rail.
Remove the 10-24 slotted head screws from the sight and slide onto
rail. When sight is in the desired position, hand tighten the slotted head
screw. Do not over tighten.
2.2 Deploying and folding the Rear Sight
WARNING
Before installing any sights, lasers or other devices on the carbine, place the safety in the on safe
position, remove the magazine, open the action and ensure the chamber is empty as explained in
Section 15.1 of your Owners Manual. Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Failure
to follow these warnings may result in serious injury or death.
WARNING
Do not mount any sight, laser, or other device which interferes with normal operation of the
carbine or extends beyond or in front of the muzzle. Ensure any sight or device attached to this
rail is firmly mounted.
2.2 Zeroing
The Magpul Manual MBUS sight is adjustable for windage only. Elevation
adjustments are made on the front sight as explained in Sections 17.2 and 17.3 of your Owners Manual.
The front sight should be zeroed at the desired distance with the small aperture up on the rear sight.
2.2.1 Rear Sight Adjustment; Adjustments for windage of the MBUS rear
sight are done by rotating the windage adjustment knob located on the right
side of the sight assembly. Rotating the windage knob clockwise will move
the point of impact right. Rotating the windage knob counterclockwise
moves the point of impact left. Each click on the windage knob equals
approximately at 100 meters. See Table 1 on Page 36 of your Owners
Manual for details.

15.1 of your Owners Manual. Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Failure to

We are pleased that you have chosen an FNH USA FN15 Magpul MOE SLG Carbine. The FN15
MOE SLG Carbine shares the same reliability, durability, accuracy and many of the operating features as
the standard FN15 Carbine. However, it has additional special features such as a Magpul MBUS flip up
rear sight, hand guard, pistol grip, trigger guard and magazine. This addendum will cover the operation of
those specific features where they differ from the standard FN15 Carbine. The common operations and
features are covered in the FN15 Owners Manual supplied with your FN15 MOE SLG Carbine.
