Description
The P-A8M is an intelligent fire alarm control panel. Flush-mounted type housing it provides the perfect
solution for all medium to large system by utilizing advance SHIELD Protocol. The system is compatible with
the complete range of SHIELD Intelligent detectors, Sounders, Call Points, and Interfaces, including
intrinsically safe and gaseous extinguishing control. P-A8M is manufactured and certified to EN54 parts 2 and
4 and to BS5839 Part 4. The SHIELD programming facilities enables advanced and complex cause and
effects to be programmed with ease, including phased and cascade evacuation scenarios. The SHIELD zone
indication and control facilities allow the operator to manually intervene, with evacuation and control of each
zone including control of all plant equipment under an alarm condition. Gas release control monitoring are
built in as standard.

By utilizing the SHIELD protocol the P-A8M can be networked with up to 99 panels, making this the perfect
solution for large decentralized systems such as Shopping Centers Military campus industrial complexes, Holiday
villages etc. With up to 1936 two-wire fire alarm linkage control points that can also be intelligent be connected
with many serial products (ex. digital detector, analogue detector, intelligent detector, control module and multiwire control panel)
