While serving as the director of Bhaktivedanta Hospice in
Vrindavan for few years, I was often asked by devotees to
recommend a place for Ayurvedic treatment being very sick
and feeling confused where to go. This is when the desire to
start a healing center to care for the vaishnavas originated. For
the next 8 years I studied Ayurveda under the best vaidyas in
south India and especially the state of Kerala.
After a long search, in 2015 we found an ideal location on the
hills of Wayanad in Kerala, where herbs are available in
abundance, climate is ideal, a garden of medicinal plants and
the place where Mother Sita devi spent her last years in
separation from Lord Ramachandra along with her twin sons.
We are glad to invite all the devotees who require Ayurvedic
treatment to come and experience our hospitality at
Purnarogya Holistic health Care which is a project inspired and
blessed by HH Radhanath Swami Maharaja to provide devotees
authentic ayurvedic health care in a traditional manner.
Some of the holy places to visit in the area are:
Thirunelli temple where the deity of Mahavishnu is installed by
Lord Brahma
Papanasini river where devotees come to bathe to be freed
from all sinful reactions
Sitadevi temple where Mother Sita entered into the earth at the
end of her pastimes
