crowdfundingwebsitespostedbyindividualswhoclaimtobeaffiliatedwiththedifferentcamps,
aswellaswiththeStandingRockTribe.Someofthesesitesarealsobeingrunbyindividuals
sympathetictotheprotestorscause.TheStandingRocktribeisraisingmoneyfortheirprotests
throughtheirwebsite,despiteyearsofbudgetproblems.
BoththeSacredStoneCampandtheRedWarriorCampsetupfundraisingsitesforgeneral
funds,legalfunds,aswellasAmazonWishListsforitemsneededtohelpthecampspreparefor
thewinter.TheSacredStoneCampsgeneralfundhasraisedmorethan$750,000whiletheRed
WarriorCampsgeneralfundhasraisednearly$50,000.
SupportgroupsincludingWinterizeWaterProtectorsCampandStandforStandingRockhaveset
upfundraisingpagestohelptheprotestors.WinterizeWaterProtectorsCamphasraisednearly
$6,000whichitclaimstohavespentonyurts.StandforStandingRockhasraisedover$50,000.
Thisgroupclaimstohavesometransparencybypostingreportsofhowthemoneyisbeingused.
Inadditiontomoneyraisedfrominternetfundraisingsites,theStandingRockSiouxTribehas
