Systems implementation is the construction of the new system and the delivery of
that system into production (that is, the day-to-day business or organization operation).
Coding- physical design specifications create by the design team are turn
into working computer code by the programming team.
Testing - testing process can begin and proceed in parallel. As each program
module is produced, it can be tested individually, then as part of a larger
program, and then as part of a larger system.
Training- outlines the objectives, needs, strategy, and curriculum to be addressed when
training users on the new or enhanced information system. The plan presents the
activities needed to support tile development of training materials, coordination of
training schedules, reservation of personnel and facilities, planning for training needs,
and other training-related tasks. Training activities are developed to teach user personnel
the use of the system as specified in the training criteria. To develop a Training Plan,

Maintenance-
As the team is getting ready to move on to new projects, you and the other
analysts need to prepare documents that reveal all the important information
you have learned about this system during the development and
implementation.
Inspections- formal group activities in which participants manually examine code for
occurrences of well-known errors.
Walkthrough- an effective method of detecting errors in code.
Desk Checking- an informal process where the programmer or someone else who
understands the logic of the program works through the code with a paper and pencil.
Syntax Checking- is typically done by a compiler.
Unit testing- each module is tested alone in an attempt to discover any errors that may
exist in the modules code.
Integration testing- combining modules and testing them
System testing- the bringing together for testing purposes of all the programs that a
system comprises.
Stub testing- technique used in testing modules especially where modules are written and
tested in a top-down fashion, where a few lines of code are used to substitute for
subordinate modules
