Policy:

In any robbery situation Associates will take no action against a robber. At

all times Associate's actions must be towards their own protection and the
protection of guests, only when there is no danger will the Associate raise
the alarm.

No Associate in charge of cash will resist an armed or seemingly armed thief - comply with all
wishes and only when safe to do so, alert management.

Take notes of all actions for police and follows up report

Compile the Suspect Description checklist in this policy

ALL WITNESSES
Take note of height, hair color and length, race, type of clothing, facial features, distinguishing
marks, or scars, mode of escape, e.g. car type and registration.
Refer to the Suspect Description Checklist attached to this policy. This checklist is to be
completed by every witness immediately after the event and submitted to the Loss Prevention
Department. If more copies of this checklist are required, photocopy the example form in this
policy. Witnesses must separate and complete the forms with no distractions or comments from
others.

The Hotel Management fully realizes that any incident of robbery involves stress and shock.
Associates who are directly involved will be comforted to the best of the hotel's ability. Coworkers of robbery victims will be expected to assist their affected companions in any way they
can.
ROBBERY WITNESS SHEET
Each witness is to complete this form. He/she is to do so without interruption or help from
others. Place an answer in the applicable space. If the answer is unknown then place "U.K." On
finishing the form hand immediately to Police or Loss Prevention.
