Location of Posting: Across all locations in India where Cognizant is present (flexibility to travel
internationally at short notice is an imperative; flexibility to relocate to another country in the
medium term is desirable).

Position Summary:

Cognizant Business Consulting (CBC) provides Strategic & Operational consulting services, creates IP
and drives Business Solutions for Clients. Positions are open within the various CBC Units mentioned
below:

Cognizant has CBC Units across the 5 industry segments - Banking Financial Services & Insurance,
Healthcare & Life Sciences, Retail/Consumer Goods & Manufacturing/Logistics, Communications,
Information, Media & Entertainment, Communication & Technology.
CBC Units are also present Cognizants 5 technology/horizontal segments- Enterprise Information
Services (DW/BI, Analytics); Testing Services; Enterprise Application Services (SAP, Oracle, CRM);
Managed IT Services (ITIS) and Managed Business Services (BPO)

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Business Consulting Advisory Services, Process Consulting, Business Analysis. Roles within
these engagements increase with experience ranging from individual contributors who
provide support to the consulting teams, to Engagement Leads who lead an engagement, to
Principals who lead multiple engagements and teams.

Thought Leadership and IP creation Create IP that can be leveraged to drive non-linear
growth and drive business outcomes. Drive the thought leadership agenda for the BU via
white papers, webinars, social media interactions, and other such public forum.

Solutionising - Participate in client engagements (pursuits, projects, discussions) and own the
Solution-ising from a domain / business point of view.

Organization building - Train junior CBC staff on Consulting skills and train the project teams
on business / domain concepts.

Overall ensure that Cognizant services meet the clients desired Business Outcomes and build a
strong team that can do the same.
