Fresh colour light brown, weathered
colour dark brown, grain size coarse tuff,
grain shape sub angular, medium sorting,
open fabric, hard
Microscopic Description:
The colour is colorless under plane
polarized view, grain roundness is
subangular to subrounded, open fabric, medium sorted ,this is a pyroclastic rock composed
of 65% of matrix (volcanic glass) and 35 % of fragment composed with lithic fragment (tuff)
, plagioclase feldspar , volcanic glass, and any other rapid cooling minerals.
