Labels, Filenames, and ABBDIAL

LITEID and Reporting Features

When a call is received from a remote meter, AlphaLite

can use labels within your command file to govern its
function. A label should be placed at the beginning of a
section which is to be executed when the desired event,
as indicated below, occurs:

Use LITEID to automatically identify unknown meter

types. Pass the same parameters as you would to
LITE<ss> subsystem executables, and the appropriate
subsystem will be launched after the meter has been
identified.
LITEID @<CMDFile> [Optional]

Label
:ALARM
:BILLING
:RESTORE

When Processed
When meter calls-in with an alarm.
When meter calls-in to give a billing
report.
When meter calls-in to report power
restoration after a failure.

The DATA_FILE directive (READ function) allows the

following automatic filename generation settings:
Setting
#F
#L
%F
%L

Result
First 8 numbers of ID2 in meter
Last 8 numbers of ID2 in meter.
First 8 characters of ID1 in meter.
Last 8 characters of ID1 in meter.

In order to connect to a remote meter, use ABBDIAL

before launching a subsystem executable. You may set
parameters on the command line, or point to a
parameter file.
