EPC Solution

With the deep analysis of project, ZTE proposes to ZXUN uMAC and
ZXUN xGW to achieve the requirement of EPC part;

ZXUN uMAC can be deployed as SGSN, MME or SGSN/MME combo

node to satisfy different scenarios during the evolution to pure LTE/EPC;

ZXUN xGW (extendable Gateway), an integrated core network

gateway product, which supports 2G, 3G, LTE and non-3GPP access.

Wide bandwidth: provides at most 160 MHz IBW and 80MHz OBW.

High output power: provides at most 4 x 40 W output power, improving

DL coverage and meeting the demands for 4 carriers.

Highly-integrated design and flexible deployment: features a size of less

than 19L and a weight of less than 19 kg; supports various installation
modes, facilitating site selection and rapid network construction;
supports electrically adjustable antennas, facilitating network
construction and maintenance.

Power saving and environment protection: supports discontinuous

spectrum bands and reduces the number of sites; allows various highefficiency power amplification technologies including Crest Factor
Reduction (CFR), DPD and Doherty; uses natural heat dissipation without
noise, saving 35% cost in electricity for operators when compared with air
conditioners equipped.

Smooth upgrade: protects operators investment by supporting smooth

upgrade to LTE-A based on ZTEs unified SDR platform.

The ZXSDR R8984E is the first 4-path TD-LTE Radio

Remote Unit (RRU) featuring ultra-wide bandwidth,
multi-carrier and high output power in the industry. It
can support 4 carriers, multi-carrier aggregation and at
most 160 MHz bandwidth, which meets broadband
operators networking requirements. With the
maximum output power is 4*40W, the R8984E is the
most powerful product in the industry.
