__________
Intro
I found an old note book not long ago that
I had use in grade 6. In it I found some
stories, I wrote them onto the computer,
edited them a bit, and ended up with the
below stories. They are all completely
fictional stories and they all have a lesson
and some are filled with symbols.

________

The bicycle wheel ~

One morning, while on my way to school I saw a bicycle wheel.
When I got to school I asked my friends if they had seen it. Tom
said he had seen it and also admitted that he was the one who put it
there. I asked him why he took off his bicycle. He said he did it so
he would not have to give his younger brother bicycle rides.
I wonder why he took off his bicycle wheel. He not only ruined his
younger brothers fun, but also his own fun. He maybe did not have
to give his younger brother rides anymore, but neither could he
himself take a ride.
If you try to ruin someone else's enjoyment, you will succeed in not
only ruining their enjoyment, but also your own. The way to have
joy is to put
J.esus first
O.thers next and
Y.ourself last.
Passing testsI have a little brother who does like to lose a point on tests. You
would think he likes to study, but he doesn't. Every time he takes a
test he fails it then screams and screams.
If you want to pass a test make sure you study!
[KJV] II Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Bleeding eyes!
One day my little sister said out of the blue, I think my eyes are
bleeding, I must have have broke them somehow. I know that I
could bleed to death, but I am sure that God can take care of me.
Oh the faith of a child. If an adult had bleeding eyes the first thing
they would do is go to the doctor. They would probably never even
think of going to God, who it the best physician, and who is able to
heal every problem. You can never grow to old to go to God, so
keep going to him with your every problem, no matter how crazy
your problems are, or how old you get.

Crocodile Lake~
This story is kind of allegorical, and has a lesson that I cannot put
into words.
One hot summer day I decided to go swimming in crocodile lake.
My parents did not approve of me swimming in that lake. So I had to
sneak. Well when they heard that I was swimming in crocodile lake
they rushed as quick a they could to the lake and tried to get me out
of it but they couldn't. There were crocodiles all around the lake
waiting to gobble them up. The crocodiles were not worried about
getting me because I was trapped in the lake. They tried there
hardest to get my parents, but my parents made sure they did not
get too close to the lake. There were many other parents at the lake
whose children had decided to go swimming in the lake. Some
parents rushed right in and got ate by the crocodiles. Some parents
were swimming with their children.

Hog Trap~
I day I decided to build a hog trap. It took a little bit of doings to
get it built. Once I got it built I set it up at the far corner of our
property and put some bait in it. I tell you I did not get 10 feet from
the trap and I could already hear the hogs running towards it. Boy
what a sight, wish you could have seen it. Over 5 hogs ran right into
the trap.
There are lots of kinds of bait and traps in life. Satan wants to
catch you. But do not be fooled by his bait, it leads right into a trap.
What's the president's name!~
One day when I was shopping I seen a sign that said Do you
know the president's name? There was a lady close by it with a
little child. She asked me if I knew the president's name. I told her
that I did not. Then she responded by saying I wonder what in the
world children are taught in public schools, I am sure glad my child
is smarter than you are. I asked her little child if he knew the
president's name. Do you know what he said. He said How should
I know I am just a baby, Who the president is does not matter to
me. And you know what it really does not matter who the president
is.
The only thing that matter is that God is in control of your life.
Is God the president of your life? If not ask Him into your heart
today.

Baby Sitting~
One day my parents left me to watch my younger brothers. Since
it was warm that day we decided to go canoing While we were
canoing a big storm came up. The storm tipped our canoe over.
We all were screaming, and my younger brothers just about
drowned. Boy was I thankful for the swimming lessons I had took.
With God's help I was able to save all my brothers, we managed
to climb on top of the upside down canoe. By this time we were
floating out in the middle of the ocean. It was a chore to stay
upright and afloat.
After a few minutes we seen a ship and all started yelling for help.
But as we got closer to it I could see that it was a pirate ship so I
made everyone be quiet. Luckily they never heard us, and we
managed to lay low so they would not see us.
As we floated on we became hungry. We knew that God would
feed us so we prayed to him. While we were down on our knees
we heard something bump the canoe. We looked up and saw a
pot of food floating on the water, what a miracle.
After we ate the food we decided to take a nap. When we awoke
from our nap we saw a little island. We started to paddle towards it
with all our might, but there was a strong current pushing us away
from the island. The current carried us for miles, and not only us
but a lot of other things. In that current I managed to find a paddle.
With the paddle I fought my way out the current and right into
another current that brought us safely home.
The first thing we did was wash up, and get into clean clothes, ate
a good meal and then went to bed. Our parents never even
noticed that we had been gone, and not a one of us got sick from
the cold rain. You may wonder: how could the above story could
even be possible? Well do not forget with God all things are
possible.
([KJV] Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them,
With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.)
With God all things are possible, And thanks to Him everything
worked out for good!

The Treasure chest~

One day I took a walk in the forest. The forest was big and a little
scary. Everything was dark in the forest, but suddenly I seen a little
light ahead. I wend towards it and found a treasure chest filled with
riches. The words take freely where inscribed on the chest. You
know what I did. I took over a million dollars from it. The chest
seemed to never empty, I keep taking more from it, it keep giving
me more. The next day I when I went into town. I used the money I
had found to buy things. I tried to keep it hidden that I had found a
big treasure chest. But the people could guess by the way I spent
money that I had found something big.
The fact that you have found the Jesus as your personal Saviour is
a fact that cannot be hid, if you have accepted Jesus Christ as the
Lord of you life everyone should know it. All you actions should
prove it.

Your Future~
One morning I woke up in a strange place. I felt older, and
looked older. When I went out of the room I that was in I seen my
mom, she too looked older. I asked her what was going on, why
do I feel much older than when I went to bed?. She said I
probably grew a little bit over the night. I told her I do not think I
could have grew that much. I then asked the date. She said it
was July 25, 2017. I then asked where we where at. She said why
don't you know, we are in a little African village helping the poor,
and preaching the gospel.
It can be surprising where you will find yourself in the future.
Your life may have many different twist and turns, but God will
always be by your side through thick and thin if you allow Him to
be.
My trip to the Zoo~
One day Our family went to the Zoo. At the Zoo we saw
Monkeys, Flamingos, Giraffes, Zebras, Elephants, Crocodiles,
Alligators, Wolves, Pandas, and much much more. Of the
different types of birds I remember there were Parakeets, ducks,
Swans, geese, and many more. There were fish of all kinds,
Snakes of all kinds, animals of all kinds. There were animals from
all around the world. Animals of all sizes, Animals of all colors,
Animals of all shapes. There were just so many animals. I find it
hard that people can believe I evolution. All these wonderful
animals had to have had a wonderful Creator. You to had to have
been created by God.

Believing in the Invisible~

One morning when I awoke and looked out my window I saw Ice
Cream Mountains, and pudding rivers, and oodles of other good
food besides. I went to tell my mom but she did not believe me.
We looked out a several windows but seen nothing. I went back to
my room a little sad. I looked out my window and saw all the good
food again. This time I decided to hop out my window and eat
some of the food. It was the best I had ever tasted. When I was
fool I hoped back in my window. Just then my mother called me,
Time to eat. I went into the dining room, and told her that I was
stuffed. She asked me what I ate. I told her that I ate the things I
seen out my window, and she still hardly believed that I had seen
anything.
Our God is an invisible God, but He is real. You may be able to
see Him, but other may not be able to. As Christians it is our job
to help others see the one true God. But how are we to do that
when they cannot see Him. We can show others that God is real
by our actions. My mother did not believe that I had seen any
food, but my fool tummy proved to her that I had actually seen
something. Your actions will prove to others that God exists. So
make sure you are making the right actions.

The Pumpkin in the field~

One year when Mr. Renfroe was harvesting his pumpkins he
accidentally left one in the field. He saw it as he was leaving the
field, but was so tired that he decided to get it the next day. The
next day was busy, and unfortunately he forgot to get his pumpkin.
He did not get it that day, nor the next, nor any day. The pumpkin
eventually rotted there. When winter came the snow covered it. As
it was nearing spring time Mr. Renfroe tried making his usual order
for pumpkin seeds. But the place he usually bought the seeds from
had shut down. He could not find another place to buy pumpkin
seeds. He was unable to but any, and had not saved any.
He did not know what he was going to do, but he cultivated the
land as usual. After a couple weeks of moaning and groaning he
went for a walk to his pumpkin field. To his utter amazement he saw
hundreds and hundreds of pumpkins growing. Suddenly he
remembered that he had left one pumpkin in his field last fall. He
then tanked God for his forgetfulness.
In the bible we are told to be thankful for everything. And you will
be surprised as you go through life the amount of things that you
can be thankful for. The man in the story was thankful for his
forgetfulness. I am sure you have something to thank God for. So
make sure you thank God.

One summer evening~

One summer evening, after supper, I went out to set on our
porch. Everything looked so beautiful. The ocean was a beautiful
blue, and the waves made a beautiful sound. The sun was going
down, and covered the whole ski with beautiful color. Beautiful
sea gulls and pelicans where flying about, and making beautiful
sounds. Beautiful ship of all sizes where sailing here and there.
No matter where you are at in the world I am sure that you are
surrounded by beauty. Have you ever wondered where it all
came from. There is no way it could have come about by random
chance. God must be the creator of it all.

No place of protection?
One day my parents died. They were my only family. I had no
one to care for me. I was all alone in the world. I did not even
have a house to live in. The first thing I decided to do, once my
parents were buried, was go to God I knew he could hear and
help me. What a help He was. He told me to take a hold of His
hand. He lead me to a nice place to live, and gave me food.
What a helpful God.
If you are all alone and in need of protection just go to God. He is
always ready to give a happy helping hand.

Things you can hear~

(A poem I wrote in sixth grade)
People singing
Telephone ringing
People talking
Chickens balking
People crying
Food frying
~ N. C. R.
You can hear... Can You hear God?
You can hear people singing
You can hear the telephone ringing
You can hear people talking
You can hear chickens balking
You can hear people crying
You can hear food frying
But can you hear God?
The spiritual telephone is ringing. Can you hear it?
God wants to be talking. But will you listen?
God has got spiritual food frying, just for you. Will you eat it?
