clearanceApplicationcanbeassignedtoseveralOperationalWCDsand
viceversa..IntheEnhancedmodel(asconfigured),aWCAisusedto
controlcommunicationbetweenworkapprovalsandOperationalWCDs.
Workapplicationsareadditionalspecificworkrelatedcertificates.For
exampleHotworkapplication,HazardousChemical/Gas/Particulatework
certificateetc.TheHotworkapplication,forinstance,istoprotecta

maintenancepersonnelfromahotworkingenvironmentbeforeenteringthe
actualmaintenancesite.
3)OperationalWCDisaWCMObjectthatisresponsibleforexecutingthe
Operationalcycle.Itwouldconsistof3keyphasesnamelyTaggingphase,
TemporaryUntaggingphase(Totestwhenworkhasbeendonebefore
makingasystemfullyoperational)andUntaggingphase.InWCDwe
defineLockout/TagoutoperationsforTechnicalObjectswhichneedtobe
isolatedtemporarilyfromTechnicalsystem.
OperationalWCDshouldbeassignedtoWCAanditsstatuswillaffectthe
statusofWCA.HerethestatusofWCDwillbetransferredtothelinked
WCA.Forexample,oncetheTaggingoperationisfinished,theTagged
statuswillbeassignedtoWCDandtransferredtoWCA.
