SUBJECT: FRENCH COMMUNICATION SKILLS PROGRAMME
This Programme is provided on a total period of 6 months and entails the following packages:
1. French Communication Skills I
2. French Communication Skills II
3. French Communication Skills III

FRENCH COMMUNICATION SKILLS I

This subject is known as Social French, it is properly designed to equip French non-speaking individuals with
essential expressions and vocabularies they need to be able to develop their understanding level, interact
through everyday talking, direct contact and prepare for the intermediary and advanced French lessons. The
subject covers a maximum of 120 Lessons, most of them being vocabularies designed to be personally
committed to learners memories. These lessons and study manuals are available for preview at the BLCollege
reception.

FRENCH COMMUNICATION SKILLS II

This subject is has its focus on French conjugation and grammar. It is properly designed to equip individuals with
acceptable prior French knowledge with in-depth French Grammar they need to be able to master the French
language. The subject covers a maximum of 12 Lessons, most of them dealing with the essentials of the Parts of
Speech. Learners are warned and encouraged to regularly attend classes thereof as here, the understanding
of upcoming lessons depends on the understanding of previous lessons. This is the most important part of this
French programme where only regular and dedicated trainees benefit the most. Irregular and undisciplined
trainees usually go astray and become unfit to complete the subject. Lessons and study manuals thereof are
available for preview at the BLCollege reception.

FRENCH COMMUNICATION SKILLS III

This subject is known as Business French, it is properly designed to equip French speaking individuals with the
basics of business communication they need to be able to develop and improve their interactions within the
business framework. This programme is provided by means of a provision of a carefully designed study manual
and lessons are sometimes presented by chosen successful learners as exposs accompanied with organized
debates where learners are encouraged to discuss, share their different viewpoints, etc. The subject covers a
maximum of 8 Lessons, most of them being designed to be personally read and presented by learners
themselves under their trainers leadership. These lessons and study manuals are available for preview at the
BLCollege reception.

MEANS OF PROVISION
These face-to-face subjects are provided by means of a properly designed study manual, fully parked with
carefully selected everyday expressions and vocabularies the understanding and practices of which are
planned to be enhanced and carried out in a computer class environment where learners will be given access
to visual and auditory equipments to develop their familiarity with different popular French accents and
pronounciation. On selected occasions, outsiders are invited for organized debates and interactions.

ASSESSMENTS
Learners will have to submit their home and class assignments to the BLCollege for marking. Home assessments
are in the form of portfolios of evidence (POE) and will be handed to them on the first day they finalise their
registration with the BLCollege. They will also be expected to undergo verbal, listening, writing tests and write
and pass a summative assessment on completion of every subject.

DURATION AND CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of this subject, the BLCollege will award you with an Achievement Certificate and
a statement of marks indicating your result. Every subject here belongs to a broader French leaning
programme which empowered thousands and, as learners quickly agree with this as soon as classes start, it has
been proven to be fit for its intended purpose on an international level while currently on the process to be
accredited by educational authorities in South Africa.
