The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent
Societies (IFRC) is the world's largest humanitarian network that
reaches 150 million people in 190 National Societies through the
work of over 17 million volunteers.
The IFRC act before, during and after disasters and health
emergencies to meet the needs and improve the lives of vulnerable
people.

Greenpeace
Greenpeace is an independent global campaigning organization that
works to change attitudes and behaviour, to protect and conserve the
environment and to promote peace.
Greenpeace today operates in more than 40 countries with
Greenpeace Canada headquartered in Toronto.

YWCA
YWCA is the largest national provider of shelter to women, serving
25,000 women, children and teen girls including 6,000 fleeing
domestic violence each year.
YWCA Canada is a member association of the World YWCA which
unites 25 million women and girls worldwide and spans 125
countries.

Citizens for Local Democracy (C4LD)

C4LD was also involved in a wide range of issues, mostly provincial
initiatives to entirely restructure the education and health systems of
Ontario.
Citizens for Local Democracy (C4LD) was a non-partisan, citizen
action group that emerged in December 1996 to oppose
provincially-imposed municipal unions on seven Toronto-area
municipalities.

CAVEAT (Canadians Against Violence)

CAVEAT was incorporated as a not-for-profit charitable
organization in June, 1992 and received its charitable designation in
October, 1992.

Goodwill Industries is a non-profit social enterprise, that provides
work opportunities, skills development and employee and family
strengthening for those who face barriers such as disability or social
disadvantage.

discrimination and how to find its elimination.
NAACP wants to ensure the political, educational, social, and

Oxfam Canada is a part of a global movement for change made up of
19 Oxfam affiliates working in more than 90 countries to mass the
power of people against poverty.

International PEN
PEN International is the world's leading association of writers,
working to promote literature and defend freedom of expression
around the world.
