DSE7510 in fixed export

DESCRIPTION

This document describes how to put the DSE7510 controller into fixed export mode. This will configure the
generator to close its breaker to another supply (commonly the mains/utilty supply) and produce a fixed
amount of power.
Its important to remember that if the local load is less than the produced, power, then the remaining
generated power is exported to the other supply.

CONFIGURATION

An input is required in the controller (DS7510 or DSE5510) for

Mains Parallel Mode

The amount of power to be produced when in parallel must be

configured.
This is performed in the modules configuration software on the
Recal tab for Sync / Load control | Load Levels :

CONNECTIONS

An auxiliary of the mains load switch is required to feed a battery negative signal into a configurable input of
the generator controller (DSE7510 or DSE5510). This digital input must be configured to Mains Parallel
mode as above. This instructs the generator controller that it is in parallel with the mains and that fixed
export mode should be entered. Without this input, export control will not take place!

CHANGING THE LOAD LEVELS

The amount of power produced can be changed by the following methods.

Using the modules configuration software on the Recal tab for Sync / Load control |
Load Levels as detailed above.
Using the modules Running Editor as detailed on the modules installation instructions or
operator manual.

ModbusRTU master. This is detailed in the full Gencomm Protocol Document, available
