CRITICAL THINKING
Introduction
AMZ is the popular manufacturer and distributer of soft drink products. The organization
is operating in Kenya and headquartered in Nairobi. It is a small and medium scale enterprise
and the organization does not have implemented technological applications in the data
management process. It has somehow affected the business growth rate. Now, the management
of AMZ is planning for global diversification in Indian market. The organization is planning to
enter in the Chinese market considering the market demand. This assignment will assess the
current strategy of AMZ and will develop a new strategy for Chinese market based on the
assessment.
Discussion
China can be considered as one of the largest consumers markets for the soft drink and
beverage products. Most importantly, it would be helpful for the organizational management to
consider the large number of population growth of the country. This particular aspect will help
the management of AMZ to enter in the potential Chinese market.
The management and leaders of AMZ used to follow a centralized approach in order to
maintain control over the entire strategy development and decision making process. Moreover,
the organizational management does not believe in the stakeholder engagement aspect. The
organizational management has succeeded to develop a potential customer base in Kenya due to
the high quality and customer service aspect, but the management did not consider the
integration of technologically advanced database management tool. The organizational
management always focused on the efficiency of strong workforce. However, there are other

organizations in Nairobi those are habituated with technologically advanced data management
process. The example of the Coca Cola Company can be considered here as the organizational
management of the Coca Cola Company has significantly integrated technologically advanced
solutions. On the other hand, it is also important to mention that the organizational management
needs to focus on effective and significant customer demand as customers in Kenya are also
habituated with online customer service aspect.
Big Data Data-Management Process
The management of AMZ Enterprise should focus on adoption and implementation two
important strategic approaches in the Chinese market. First of all, the organizational management
of AMZ should consider technological advanced Big Data data-management tool. China is the
largest country in terms of population growth rate. On the other hand, it is also important to
discuss that consumers in China are effective customer service oriented. Chinese soft drink and
beverage market is highly saturated as well as competitive (Schmarzo, 2013). On the other hand,
it is also important to discuss that different organizations have different market shares and
customer base. The organization will feel pressure due to new business operation approaches. In
an addition, it will be difficult for the organizational management to take care of the large
number of consumer data and information through the manual process (Tang, 2016). Therefore,
adoption and implementation of Big Data will help the organizational management of AMZ
enterprise to maintain efficiency in the data management process. Therefore, this particular
aspect will always help the organization in maintaining the effectiveness in customer service and
supply chain management process.

Conclusion
It is clear from the above discussion that the management of AMZ enterprise should
focus on the adoption and implementation of technologically advanced Big Data DataManagement toll to maintain efficiency in business operation process. Moreover, the
organizational management should also focus on the adoption and integration of joint venture
business model to maintain profitability in China.
