The earlier your application and money are received the better chance you have for
confirming a booth at the event. If your registration arrives before July 15th, an
additional artist pass will be provided at no further cost. Otherwise there will be an
additional charge of $100 for each additional artist or assistant per booth.
Brooklyn Inked Artist Application
We supply the following with each Booth Rental:
Two Day Booth Rental

(1) Gallon of water will be provided to each artist.

To secure your space at the Brooklyn Inked Tattoo & Arts Convention 2010,
we recommend the following:

• Complete and return your forms, and payment quickly, making sure to fill out all
forms accurately and in their entirety

• Include Clear, Valid copies of your Artist License and State Identification.

The following outlines the registration requirements of the Brooklyn Inked


Tattoo & Arts Convention.
DEMAND
• In order to maintain the highest level of quality for attending artists and
collectors, approximately 100 booths are available and they will sell out quickly!
The demand for booths is expected to exceed the supply of booths available.

• Registration is open to Body Art Shops and Vendors worldwide.

• Registrations are being delivered to over 500 Shops and Vendors. Don’t miss out
on this opportunity!

Convention Rules & Guidelines
Brooklyn Inked Artist Application

The following outlines the health and sterilization requirements of Brooklyn


Inked.

All body arts practiced at Brooklyn Inked must be performed by artists


licensed to practice at the convention.
A minimum age requirement of 18 years old will be enforced for all
tattooing and body piercing. Proof of I.D. is required and must be copied
with all Brooklyn Inked Consent forms. Consent forms will be made
available throughout the convention.
Barrier products are required. Please work as safely as you can.
All tattoos performed at the convention should be bandaged prior to
allowing the customer to leave the booth. Bandages may be removed for the
purpose of entering the tattoo contests but should only be done in a tattoo
booth with the assistance of the artist. Tattoos that are fresh and dripping
bodily fluids pose a threat of cross contamination. Please be aware of this
throughout the weekend and bandage your customers cleanly and safely.
All needles used must be auto-claved, date stamped, single use, and disposed
of in a sharps container after use. Each station will be provided with sharps
containers and waste receptacles for disposal of single use equipment.
Please make sure the client gets after care instructions and knows what to
do.
No alcohol is allowed outside the outdoor lounge area. No clients should
receive body art if they are judged to be intoxicated. The responsibility is on
the artist.
Body Piercing of genitals or nipples must be screened from public viewing.
If you plan to offer this service your station must include an opaque screen
for such purposes. You are obligated to bring this yourself; it is not included
with your booth registration

The following outlines the event rules and regulations of Brooklyn Inked.

NO LEAVING THE CONVENTION EARLY - No loading or unloading of


any materials. All artists must be ready to work during hours of show
operation.
Saturday: 12pm-12am
Sunday: 12pm-11pm
No exhibitor shall assign, sublet or apportion the whole or any part of the
assigned space.
No persons, firm or organization not assigned exhibit space shall be
permitted to exhibit or solicit any business within any area occupied by any
part of the show or related events.
Each booth will be issued 2 Artist Passes and 2 Wrist bands. You must
wear the artist badge and wristband. Artist may purchase additional artist
passes for an additional fee.
If you or someone from your booth is caught sharing passes/wristbands, you
will be ejected and your shop booth will be closed for the remaining portion
of the convention. There will be no refunds. You are required to wear the
vendor wristbands the entire time of the convention during the hours of
operation.
All sharp containers must be placed at the front of the table after the show.
No Individual music will be allowed in the booths.

Brooklyn Inked Artist Application
All artist, piercers, and customers/participants are required to sign a waiver
to participate in the convention.

Waiver:

I understand that in order to practice any body arts at Brooklyn Inked Tattoo &
Arts Convention I must have a valid license to practice in New York and that the
license is only valid for the conduct of those body art practices for which I have
applied, as listed on the license.

I fully understand the obligations and requirements imposed upon a licensed


Body Art Practitioner as set fourth by NYC Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene. I also agree to comply with all of the regulation requirements specified
by NYC DOHMH while practicing Body Arts in New York.

I (The artist) agree to indemnify and hold Brooklyn Inked, Eclectic Event LLC,
its presenters, sponsors, employees, and all associates harmless from any claims
or causes of action arising out of or in any way connected with the activities of
the artist, or sale by the artist to the attendees of its products, at convention site.

I hereby certify, under penalties and pains of perjury, that to the best of my
knowledge, the information provided on this application is complete and accurate
and in no way misrepresented.
