LEADERSHIP MANIFESTO

Since job in CRC (Control and reporting centar) is strictly tehnical, our leadership
style is little bit different from many standard military units which have combat purpose.
Working as Identification Officer in CRC and occasionally as a cheif of the crew I have need
and oportunity to combine different styles of leadership according situation and personal and
I'm doing that. It is the only effective way to accomplish our mission becouse diffferent
situation and diferent people requires different approaches. My supervisor recognize my style
as effective and gives me a lot of privilege in how to organize my job.
In our every day duties there are no many unknown things and well trained team doesn't need
strong hand to be leaded. It is allmost lassez-faire with little supervision. But if some air
incident occur or during the exercise, the crew need to be leaded whit much more influence
with strict order how to do something or warning to pay attention to certain thing. If we have
a new member it requires more direct approach than experienced personal. Of course, I
always commend good job and point out to bad presentation or behavior and my subordinates
know that. They recognized fairnes and transparency in my approuch and they know if they
will work their job correctly and if they would work on their own specialization, that would
give them more freedom to organize their job in their own maner and better conditions to
advancement.
To be effective leader requires wide range of knowledge, skills and experience, not only
profesional, but also psihological.
