D. TUTORIALS
Tutorial sheets will be made available online at the course web page. The students should try to solve the
problems and discuss them with the teacher. They should also bring the problem sheets to the tutorials.
E. EVALUATION OF THE COURSE
1.
2.
3.
4.

Minor 1 & Minor 2 :

20 % each
Major test
:
40 %
Quiz (3 to 4)
:
15 %
Tutorials
:
5 % (The concerned teacher will award these marks on the basis of
tutorial class quiz)
Only one make-up minor test will be scheduled for students who miss either of the minor tests due to
medical reasons. This test will be held towards the end of the semester and syllabus till the date of the test
will be included for the same. It is mandatory for the student to produce a medical certificate from IIT
Delhi hospital for this. The student should also contact the course coordinators either before or
immediately after they miss the test and without this advance information, no request towards the end of
the semester will be considered. Also, no make-up quiz will be conducted
