Research and define the following terms (some are Buddhist terms, some
are people/objects, and some are regular vocabulary words).
Brahmin- A culturally superior person of high class
Om A sacred mantra in the Hindu and Buddhist religion and are generally
used before and after recitations, prayers, and texts.
Art of contemplation & meditation Mediation is a human mode of prayer,
while contemplation is divinely infused prayer.
Atman- Atman is Sanskrit for the word self. This found in Hindu and it is the
spiritual life principle and in order for one to attain salvation, a human must
a quire self-knowledge.
Avaricious- Avaricious is a word that you could use to describe someone who
exemplifies greed for a material.
All-Radiant- sending out light; shining or glowing brightly.
Atonement- reparation/compensation for doing something wrong
Emanating- Emanate means to originate from.
Rig-Veda- Is an Indian collection of Sanskrit hyms.
Discontent- Describes someone who is unhappy with lifes circumstances.
Suffice Suffice means to be enough or meets the standards of something.
Ablutions- The ceremonial act of washing parts of the body or sacred
containers
Supplication Is the act of asking/begging for something while also
remaining humble.
Prajapati lord of people basically a group of Hindu deities that preside
over procreation and protection of life.
Transient Means to only last for a short period of time.
Upanishads of Sama-Veda - is the Veda of melodies and chants. It is an
ancient Vedic Sanskrit text, and part of the scriptures of Hinduism.
