You will write a 5 paragraph informational essay about your president. Please use the following
formatting:
*typed, with indented paragraphs
*double spaced
* Times New Roman font
* 12 pt. font
* Share (with your teacher) and Print by March 10th.
Your essay will include:
Paragraph 1: Introductory Paragraph.
Introduce your president and briefly tell your audience 3 things that you are going to be telling us about
your presidents career. These facts should be about his presidency, not his personal life! Facts
about his personal life should be supplemental.
Paragraph 2: First interesting fact about your president.
This will be at least 5 sentences and will include factual information.
Paragraph 3: Second interesting fact about your president.
This will be at least 5 sentences and will include factual information.
Paragraph 4: Third interesting fact about your president.
This will be at least 5 sentences and will include factual information.
Paragraph 5: Conclusion
In this paragraph, you will summarize your essay.

You will create two bumper stickers encouraging people to vote for your president; you must make up a
new slogan for the election and include things about your president that you find interesting. Color!

________ DRESS UP AS YOUR PRESIDENT


You may dress up as your president for the day (March 16th). Be prepared to give your presentation and
answer questions about your president throughout the day.
