Seeking a Process Engineering position with an Oil & Gas Facilities Design Organization where I shall
utilize My Skills, Experience & Education to become a Process Technologist for Oil & Gas Processing
Plants. I plan to lead a team of engineers on various Oil and Gas Processing Plant and Licensed
Technologies assignments. I wish to Publish the Technical Articles related to Oil and Gas Processing in
future.

Personal Skills and Achievements


During the Pre-FEED Stage study for CO2 Recovery from Acid Gas, to re-inject CO2 into Wells for EOR,
Gasco Abu Dhabi Habshan-5 field, CO2 FEED composition was 29 mol% in Acid Gas, Upon evaluation
of various conventional CO2 Recovery technology was having much higher OPEX and CAPEX, however,
I carried out feasibility study with the goal of minimizing Amine Reboiler duty and Amine circulation rates
with the optimization of Amine system with the help of Promax Simulation tool and in depth literature
survey. This study resulted in about 5 million USD of cost saving per year. I identified Cost savings at
early stage of Project execution. Hence, the overall cost of the Project has been reduced based on
technical and economical merits.
During the ADMA-OPCO Abu Dhabi Flare revamp Study, I carried out Dynamic Simulation of Flare
Network. As per the Plant philosophy, it was necessary to shut-down the Oil & Gas facility upon tripping
of Gas Compressor, however, upon Study of Dynamic Simulation with proper adjustment of flaring Valves
opening time correctly and staggered flaring philosophy we were able to achieve successful flaring of gas
without requirement of Plant Shutdown with pressure surges still within the limits. This resulted in Huge
cost savings for the Company. This study was completed within the allocated budget for the Company.
During the Concept Stage Upgrade study of Khafji Desalting Facilities for Client KJO, I guided Process
engineers to carry out Simulation and Optimization of Plant Configuration. This was crude with very high
emulsion viscosity. The Heat Exchanger Configuration was found to be very expensive in order to heat
the crude to certain temperature. However, with the accurate study of Chemical Injection in to the Crude
and various Heat exchanger configurations, we were able to reduce the CAPEX and OPEX to much
greater extent.

project involved EPIC for Utility Platform & Living Quarters Platform at offshore
Qatar to be installed Greenfield facility including RO Unit, Electro chlorination
Unit, Sea Water System, and Instrument Air/Plant Air System.
2. EPC for ADMA Flare Revamp Project: This EPC project involved installation of
New Flare system and integration with existing Flare System.
3. Upgrade of Khafji Desalting facilities & onshore gas network: This feasibility and
Concept stage Project involved Up gradation of existing KJO Oil Processing
facilities to handle increase in water cut and Crude-water emulsion.
4. FEED for Onshore Processing Facilities for dorra field development project for
Kuwait Gas Oil Company (KGOC). Project Involved carrying out screening studies
around various options for the different processing units of the Onshore
Processing Facilities (OPF) for Dorra Field development.

5. Feasibility Study for IBN RUSHD Acetic Acid Plant: The Acetic Acid Plant is to
be designed to produce 34,000 MTPA of 'glacial' acetic acid from ethane, oxygen
and nitrogen feedstock. (30,000 MTPA from a Conventional Reactor System
and 4,000 MTPA from a proprietary Reactor System. Technology from SABIC)
6. ZAKUM Oil Lines Replacement Project (phase I). Zakum field has a network of
offshore wellhead towers and two offshore processing complexes, Zakum Central
Super Complex (ZCSC) and Zakum West Super Complex (ZWSC). As per project
scope, Thirteen numbers existing oil pipelines have been identified as critical
pipelines needing an immediate replacement campaign with addition of intelligent
pigging.
7. Yemen LNG Upstream Project: This FEED verification + EPC stage Project
involved Cryogenic Gas Plant and associated facilities with Turbo compressor
Package to process 420 MMSCFD raw feed gas and transfer to LNG storage via
300 kms gas pipeline with Gas Dehydration and liquefaction technology from
Process Licensor CB& I.
