CHAPTER IV

TECHNICAL ASPECT

This chapter talks about the process of our business activities. Chapter IV
discusses the services that will be offered by our business to all its potential
costumers. This also gives a brief and accurate description of the materials,
equipment, machines and supplies. It also shows the human resource requirements
and their corresponding salaries and wages, and the strategic location together with
its plan layout.

SERVICE DESCRIPTION
ARKids is centered in making its costumers happy and satisfied. We offer
different kinds of arcade games that will surely leave them wanting more. Our
business is not just about arcade games, we also offer snack foods that will satiate
costumers hunger and thirst.
Arcades are usually known to children and teenagers but ours are open for all
who are child at heart and an arcade lover. It is the best place for leisure time and for
friends to get together and hangout together.

We dont need to worry that the business would face its worst because many
people will surely appreciate the arcade for its unique satisfaction and it is also the
first arcade center that will be built in the city of Calbayog. But even though, we will
make sure that our costumers will experience extraordinary, every weekend there
will be a competition for the best arcade player and there will be a price for the
winner to give an appreciation also for our loyal customers, to attract people from
coming and keep our usual crowd coming back.

MANPOWER REQUIREMENTS
The ARkids Amusement Arcade will be hiring competent and amusing staff that will
be one of the key to achieve the projects mission and vision to have successful
business ventures in the long run.
Job Title: Manager

In depth knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and

management.

In depth knowledge of the functions, operation and mission and vision of the
specific business.

Must be a graduate Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or a

departmentally related field.

Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include

knowledge of Excel and skills in Access.

*The following Coin Operated Arcade Machines and Basketball Hoop Arcade
Machines are to be imported from Japan, requiring us to hire a customs broker for
the management of Foreign Transactions and Import Duties. The prospected salary of
the said broker is around P100, 000 per stipulated transactions. A total of 10
transactions would be made to purchase 2 Crane Machines, 4 Arcade Basketball
Hoops, 3 Arcade Machines, and 1 Sing Machine to be imported from the US. The
expected total service fees of the customs broker would amount to P500,000 with the
assumption that the broker would agree with the terms and conditions of the contract.
SUPPLIERS

Location
The ARkids is to rent a space in Gaisano Grand Mall Calbayog City with a lease rate
of P18,000 per month. Since it is a known behavior of Filipino people that we often
flock in malls to wander around, go for a shopping spree, relax and especially to
have fun and thats where they will find the ARkids Amusement Arcade.
