This research paper wasnt able to conduct surveys, instead, researchers


rely on the results of the previous studies conducted by researchers and/or
organizations that aim to answer the same objective the researchers have come
up to. The graphs and illustrations taken contain facts and information as proofs
that the following results were proven reliable.
A case study was conducted by Magdalene (2011) on Computerized
Accounting and Financial Reporting. There are 15 respondents, in which, 2 are
management staff, 10 are accounting staffs/tellers and 3 are support staff, the
following graphs and tables are illustrated to understand further what the case
study had concluded based on the respondents responses.

Based on the table illustrated, its shown that all of the respondents said that
their respective company use computerized accounting system for its business
operations. This indicates that this type of banking system has positive impact on
the company for continuously using and running the computerized accounting
system.

On the table illustrated above, the information indicates that the income
statement was the financial report which was greatly affected by the
computerized accounting system among the other listed financial reports.

The table shows that the computerized accounting system has been a great
help when it comes to time saving and speed, gathering a total of 93%, as it was
mention by Dacosta (2011), business nowadays are looking for an efficient way
of satisfying customers needs in which, computerized accounting has provided.

On the table above, respondents said that the reporting and data security
were the major tasks computerized accounting can provide, having a total of 86%
both. It is safe to say that the respondents find it easy on doing the two
mentioned tasks with the use of computerized accounting system.

Table above shows that speed and time saving are the major advantages of
using the computerized accounting system. It actually functions by doing the
major tasks more effectively and more efficiently compared to the manual
system.

Eye strains and chances of system failure gathered the most percentage of
80% as the major disadvantages of using the computerized accounting system.
This shows that respondents suffered from these disadvantages despite the fact
that this kind of banking system provides greater impact on its positive effects to
its business operations.
Aside from the case study conducted above, researchers also consulted the
study conducted by Githinji, et. al (2014), on Adoption of Computerized
Accounting System. Its objectives is to know what are the advantage of
computerized accounting system, users perception about it and its cost
implications. Here are the graphs taken from the said study:

The graph above shows that computerized accounting system is userfriendly, it eases workload and reduces errors gathered the highest mean score
of 4.1. This shows that the computerized accounting system has been a great
help to the respondents in working with their transactions.

The graph above illustrates that the cost of hardware requires the highest
investment for it is the most expensive of all the infrastructure needed for
adopting the computerized accounting system, accumulating a total of a mean
score of 3.2.
