Project Background
By the Changjang, the Yellow river, the Ganges river, the Tigris, the Nile and the Rhine
In each ancient civilization, every nation and all ethnicities, there are traditional games that pass through
generations, games that become a fundamental part of human cultural life
The historical Chinese chess from the epic battlefield between empire CHU
and HAN;
The Maoris hunt for animals and pursuit treasure in ancient New Zealand;
The number guessing games among Jewish people;
The oldest African inhabitants started the activity of bungee jump;
Or the Eskimos initially form a game on ice which became todays ice
hockey
When games are mentioned by younger generations--Due to the mounting usage of computers and digital gadgets, words like laptop or IPad are increasingly
commonly mentioned by young people, while less attention is paid to their traditional local games.
In many nations and countries, games which were once handed down for over a thousand
years are deteriorating and vanishing.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
Preserve Civil Symbols and Traditional
Culture
Through the collection and demonstration of traditional games
from different regions, nations and countries, the purpose is
to protect civil symbols and traditional culture.

1. Project approval: UNESCO approve this project as one of organizers and initiators
A. Issue the principle guidelines for the project and ground the rules for the collection of
traditional games
B. Organize jury committee for the selection and assessment of traditional games

C. Gather traditional games, including assessment and evaluation of the collected information,
documenting and reporting
D. Publish relevant texts, images and videos in the forms of books and documentaries as one of
organizers
E. Reserve the rights of approval for any other promotional activities related to this project
F. In association with Tencent China, collaborate under a common agreement in other related
works
