DESIGN ENGINEERING

The M.Tech. Design Engineering programme aims at imparting advanced knowledge to participants in design necessary for
complex engineering systems having predominantly mechanical, electrical and electronic components and to a limited extent
requires computer software, chemical reagents, biological reagents and management support. Such systems involve several
types of nonlinearities, such as geometric, material and parametric nonlinearities, necessitating a more general treatment of the
problem. Such general treatment requires the knowledge of numerical solution to complex governing equations and boundary
conditions, multi-parameter logical decision-making methods and appreciation of the link of product to the environment. All these
aspects are covered in this programme.
The four semester M.Tech. Design Engineering programme for working professionals also imparts knowledge on designing
robust products that are economical and can cater to the downstream product life stages such as manufacturing, assembly and
maintenance.

Programme Highlights

Learn without any career break by attending weekend lectures in Bangalore/ Delhi NCR/ Pune/ Chennai led by
