Changes at Northfield and Mastrick Medical Practice
I refer to my earlier letter sent to you in October 2016 regarding the changes at Northfield and
Mastrick Medical Practice. I am pleased to be able to let you know that we have reached outline
agreement on future arrangements for the provision of General Medical Services for Northfield
and Mastrick patients.
Following a confidential tendering process, I am delighted to advise that Denburn Medical
Practice have been offered the contract to provide medical services from Northfield and
Mastrick Medical Practice.
Aberdeen Health & Social Care Partnership will be working closely with Denburn Medical
Practice and the Northfield and Mastrick team to ensure as smooth a transition as possible over
the coming months.
I trust the confirmation of the new arrangements will provide you with confidence and assurance
about the future of local health services in the Northfield and Mastrick area.
Your support is kindly requested as we work towards the new arrangements. Further
information about any changes during this time will be communicated when available. It is
anticipated that a public session in the local area will also be organised to enable patients to
meet the new practice.
