AICTE Sponsored Quality Improvement Program On
Recent trends in Drug-Product Development, Phytopharmaceuticals
and Analytical Techniques

About the Program Two weeks program comprises of series of lectures

by experts from Industries and academia along with demonstrations on
sophisticated equipment. The programme will provide an overview of
the newer trends in the pharmaceutical product design and development,
drugs or drug like molecules from natural sources and their importance
as well as the trend in pharmaceutical analysis. Potential developments
have been observed in the three areas of research and education.
Analytical techniques being most important part of any qualitative and
quantitative research, needs a special attention. Therefore, the program
will focus on various techniques and trends in the said area across the
globe.

Objectives
(a) This Faculty Development Programme (FDP) intends to facilitate upgradation of knowledge, skill and intends to provide opportunities for
induction training to teachers employed in Pharmacy.
(b) This Faculty Development Programme (FDP) covers areas such as
technical education policy, new concepts, methods and techniques,

theory and skills development and up gradation of pedagogy educational

technology, motivation, communication skills, management and other
relevant issues to keep pace with the changing scenario in Technical
Education.
(c) This FDP is designed to enhance the teaching and other skills of the
faculty. And to make them aware about modern teaching tools and
methodologies. It provide an opportunity to acquire knowledge about
current technological developments inrelevant fields. It will not only
promote the professional practices relevant to technical education but
also motivates the faculty to achieve competitive teaching and learning
environment, thus channelizing development with respect to academic
qualifications and personal matters.
Eligibility Pharmacy teaching faculty of AICTE approved institutions
and research scholars under Quality Improvement Program.

Hostel Accommodation provided for the first 50 participants on request.

Travelling Allowance: Paid as per AICTE norms
