SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR: Academic year 2016-2017


FOURTH YEAR REGULAR AND REPEATER STUDENTS
Following drawings and tables must appear on the drawing sheets along with Plans,
Elevations, Sections which are basic requirements of submission. Well defined legend,
North line and scales for all drawings

Site Pan 1:500 (min)


Buildings with roof plans showing drainage slopes
Water drainage, electric lines with their capacities
Layout of UGT, OHT with capacities
Section through lift and staircases with all the floor heights and thicknesses of
slabs and constructional details and material like bricks etc.
Landscape plan with boundary plantations and botanical names.
Hard and soft surfaces
Lighting layout
Site sections.
If Air conditioning locations of plants if any.
Garbage Disposals
Fire fighting with fire escapes and plumbing lines
Rain water harvesting
Solar panels and Green architecture
Sustainable buildings.

TABLES REQUIRED:
Table showing the following:

Plot area, Area calculations, built up areas.

Parking as per Municipal bye laws for residential or commercial / Public buildings

Parking for residential under slits showing columns positions.


All buildings to be designed for physically disabled by showing ramps, railing etc.
Commercial and Public in basements, small % of parking can be in paved
surrounding areas.

Road plan Must follow the municipal requirement of the minimum width with footpaths
for appropriate length.

Cul -de-sacs cannot be more than 100mts.


Every building must have proper car access

All drawings should be read with clarity even in absence of the candidate.

PLAN , SECTIONS, ELEVATIONS. Perspective and birds Eye view with Interiors
to explain comprehensive planning of residential and commercial / public
buildings to show following
Levels if used in plans
Details of doors and windows
Interior details with Interior view including tiling, fixtures
Passages to be highlighted in yellow colour
Furniture Layout for both commercial / Public and residential building
Complete security measures including the closure of public premises by
one or two main doors by locking., security cabins etc
Proper depth, width, windows for adequate lighting and ventilation as per
bye laws.
FOLLOWING TABLES OF PIE DIAGRAM SHOWING:
Percentage of passages, open spaces like courtyards or atriums, built up &
carpet spaces.
Percentage for services like toilets, server rooms, storages, utility areas.
All floor Plans including, site plan marked dimensioning of building and plot etc.
DISTANCES FOR THE SET BACKS

SET BACK DISTANCES ( plot dimensions and plot shape modify)

Distance from the main road till the building = 7.5 mts
Side distance 6.0 mts from the boundary
Internal road distances - 4.5mts
Distance between 2 buildings - 9 to10mts average
