Subject: Leave application on account of my marriage.

Sir,
I am elated to inform you that my marriage is fixed with Miss. Swagata
Chakraborty on 1st February, 2017. Since, wedding calls for a lot of pre
and post occasion preparations, therefore, I request you to kindly grant
me the matrimonial leave from 30 th January 2017 to 13th February 2017.
Excluding the general holidays (i.e. one Saturday and two Sundays) the
total on-leave days will be 12days. My reporting date will be 14 th of
February.
I would also like to inform you that as I have 3 ELs of last year to dispense
and I request your kind permission to avail my upcoming ELs or CLs of this
year clubbed with the previous years 3 ELs, so that no deductions can be
made from the salary.
As far as the syllabus completion is concerned, I have completed around
35% of the syllabus and as I will be back by the second week of February,
my students studies or on time completion of syllabus will not be
hampered.
At this crucial juncture of my life and of I would like my institution to be
my side and request your kind permission to treat my absence as
informed leave and do the needful in this regard.
