This Post will explain the creation of condition master with multiple
scales byLSMW.
LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) is a tool in SAP to
update the records in bulk. We can either use the standard SAP
methods or the batch recording. Bulk pricing conditions are
createdby using LSMW. Below is the example where we

Open LSMW transaction and create your own Project, Sub project
and Object if not created already.

When you execute, you will nd 14 steps for the LSMW. After each
step, save and execute the next step.

2. Maintain Source Structures : We need to add two source

structure for this, one for the condition and the other for the
scales. The Item (Scales) needs to be given as sub tree.

3. Maintain Source Fields : In this step, we need to specify

what all elds to be given in the header and the item les.
For the below example, I am going to perform the creation of
conditions with multiple scales by LSMW for ZONC condition.
We need to give an extra eld Vakey to this condition have
the below elds,

4. Maintain Structure Relations : In this step, we need to

provide the relationships.

5. Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules :Please

maintain the eld mapping in this step. Please refer to the
example below,

6. Maintain Fixed Values, Translations, User-Dened

Routines : This step will be automatically updated.

7. Maintain Fixed Values, Translations, User-Dened

Routines : Now in this step, we need to provide the path for
both the head and the item les. Please note that the Vakey
eld is the linking eld for both the les.

8. Now the other steps are just execute and checking whether
the data is correct,
1. Assign Files
2. Read Data
3. Display Read Data
4. Convert Data
5. Display Converted Data
6. Create Batch Input Session
7. Run Batch Input Session
9. The issue, we will normally get in this steps are the format
mismatch between the le and the system. Please check and
make it corrected. Make sure that all the data in the
document are read.

Some of the points may not be clear for the new users of LSMW.
But this post is aimed on the users who have basic knowledge on
