The PVC floor panel is new replacement for traditional material for bus and rail transit
applications. With skin hard, it is stronger anti-corrosion,anti-aging advantages, environmentfriendly, lighter, waterproof, Insect-resistant, fire prevention,easy for installation and daily

Installation

3.1 Important points to be known before installation

PVC floor panel need to be installed after the bus painting process.

Air circulation system is required during processing.

3.2 Clean the bus skeleton


Procedure
To use the cleaning tools to clean the surface of
the bus skeleton.
To make the surface of the bus skeleton smooth,
no dust allowed.

3.3 Apply PVC Sealant (replacement of SIKA) onto the bus skeleton
Procedure
Slowly open the PVC Sealant.
Apply the PVC Sealant onto all beams and stringer.
The PVC Sealant should be evenly coated.
Gently press the PVC Sealant with your hand to
bond it firmly to the metal.

3.3.1 Information of PVC Sealant


Description
Double side Sealant tape made of Butyl.Type of solvent-free, nonsolidified sealing material which is made from high quality rubber,
plasticizer, etc. , it has good performance on adhesion, acid and
alkali resistance, ageing resistance, UV resistance, waterproof, and
so on, and it is one of the best damping, noise reducing material.
Application:sealing, damping, heat insulation for bus body, auto
air-condition, floor of bus.
Product character:
Cream like, no flowing under high temperature, easy to
applicant.
Good adhesion performance.
Good sealing performance, age resistance, oil resistance, water
resistance.

Installation

3.4 Assemble PVC floor on bus skeleton


Procedure
To cut the PVC floor panel .
To put the PVC floor panel onto skeleton.
Joint by Sealant.

Attention
Panels must be installed smoothly.

3.5 Riveting
Procedure
To put rivets after punching at the crossbeam position of the
frame.
After the floor is finished, make the bottom hole according to
the dimension and position in photo(Dimension of bottom
hole is according to the condition).
To use self-tapping lock screw to fix the panels.
Attention
Floor splicing gap leaves 1-2mm.
Splicing screw gap of about 150-300mm.
Non-splicing screw gap of about 300-400mm.
The shortest distance of screw to the edge of the floor can not
be less than 10mm.
Screw fixed, the installed floor surface should be done the
surface batch ash treatment.
Panels hould not be into the drying room, the engine
compartment site should be added insulation layer board and
cotton insulation.

Installation

3.6 To Fill the putty in the gap


Procedure
To fill putty on all seam surfaces (part of red circle),
seam sealers are needed .
To dry the part when filling putty, to avoid
cracking.
Attention
It is necessary to confirm that putty of top is
polished to ensure to attach with surface .
Curing agent of putty should be uniform.
