1 Wire Transfer

a) Western Union (recommended method)

Centennial is now providing a faster, less expensive and easier payment option online at:

http://bit.ly/17tarxC

Please refer to the enclosed Western Union document for instructions.

Payments made through Western Union can be seen in your student account within
2-3 business days.

If your local currency is not available, please select American Dollars (USD) and arrange for
your bank to transfer the equivalent amount to Western Union. Western Union will convert the
USD amount into Canadian Dollars (CAD) and deposit the payment into your student account.

b) Bank to Bank Transfer (outside of Canada)

Welcome!

Welcome to Centennial College

Congratulations on your decision to join us at Centennial College.
We have prepared this Welcome Package to help you with your next steps in becoming
a student at Centennial. Enclosed you will find your Acceptance Letter and your Cost of
Living Letter, which are to be used when you apply for your study permit. We have also
provided information on Payment Options, Housing Options, our Withdrawal and
Refund Policy, and have included a Checklist designed to help you prepare for your stay
in Toronto, Canada, and Centennial College.
Please review all documents in this package carefully! If you have any questions, please
do not hesitate to contact your Centennial Admissions Officer.
As a new student, you may want to learn a little more about the city you will be living
in while you study at Centennial. Toronto is located in the province of Ontario, along
Lake Ontario, and is home to over 2.7 million people. It is one of the most liveable and vibrant
cities in the world, with over 160 languages and dialects spoken. Some of the reasons why
people choose to live in Toronto include: quality of life, business opportunities, cultural
diversity, arts and entertainment and political stability. During your stay, you will also enjoy
our four beautiful seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Be sure to have clothes that are
suitable for each season. You will also be able to take advantage of the energy, style, culture
and warmth offered by the citys upwards of 140 distinct neighbourhoods.
We strongly encourage you to arrive at least one week before classes start to get comfortable
with your new surroundings, settle in to your new home, and attend Centennial Welcomes
our new student orientation event. When you arrive, please meet with your International
Education Admissions Team to complete your registration as soon as possible (bring your
