* Desirable for the posts 1 (a) to (f) above - Experience in teaching in a reputed English medium
school. Proficiency in games and sports, interest in other extra curricular activities, computer and
aptitude for residential school life style.
** Reservation of SC/ST . There will be reservations of 15% and 7 % of the posts in all
categories of employees for SC and ST candidates respectively. However, if qualified SC and ST
candidates are not available for the posts reserved for them, the Principal will be authorised to fill
the posts from amongst the general category candidates.

Pay+ DA, Contributory pension under New Pension Scheme, Gratuity, LTC, Medical Allowance,
Transport Allowance , Residential School Allowance (for teachers), House Master Allowance (for teachers),
Adhoc bonus and Group Insurance as admissible as per Sainik Schools Society Rules & Regulations. Free food
during school session, rent free accommodation/HRA and subsidized schooling for two children. Reservation
for SC/ST category candidates will be as per rules of Sainik Schools Society. In case of non-availability of
suitable candidates in these categories, the unfilled vacancies will be filled from other categories. Posts are
temporary but likely to be permanent on successful completion of probationary period and are transferable with
All India service liability.

Desirous candidates should apply to the Principal, Sainik School Chhingchhip (Mizoram) on the
prescribed format available on website https://schooleducation.mizoram.gov.in along with attested copies of
certificates and testimonials mentioning % from Matric onwards, a passport size photographs, bio data
including telephone/mobile number and crossed Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- for Gen Category (non-refundable)
& Rs. 250/- for SC/ST category drawn in favour of Principal, Sainik School Chhingchhip, payable at SBI
Electric Veng, Aizawl(Branch Code-16361). Last date of receipt of applications in the school is 30 Jan
2017. School will not be responsible for postal delay. Only short-listed candidates will be called for written
Exam/interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the Written Exam/ interview. The school
administration reserves the right to cancel the vacancy due to administrative/policy reasons.
4.
Candidates are required to submit their working email ID, so that call letters for written examination/
interview can be sent at a short notice. No separate call letters will be sent by post.
