audit of all food vendors.

Product Development
Worked in product development along with marketing & R & D department, in launching the products like
marinated lollipop, Hot & spicy, Malai tikka, Tandoori tikka, 400g cut pieces, hot & spicy range etc.

Since Oct03 with Godrej Tyson Foods Ltd, Mumbai as a Production In charge
Companys Profile: Godrej Tyson Foods Ltd., is a joint venture of Godrej & most leading American company Tyson.
First time in India Godrej launches chilled retail products and also supplying chicken products more than 200
customers through different channels like retail, modern trade, QSR & Food Service.
Key Deliverables:

Responsible for GHK,GMP and SOP in the plant.


Handling 25 permanent staff & 300 contract workers.
Handling Customer complaint related to the Quality and responsible to close the complaint within 48 hrs. with QA
department.
Monthly review of customer complaints in the Food Safety meeting.
Responsible for receiving checks of Fresh Food articles while receiving at DC
Closure of observations & findings from auditors within timeline.
Visiting the key customer to understand their Quality specification.
Implemented the HACCP & quality systems successfully and got ISO 9001, 2200.
Verifying HACCP records on daily basis
Conducting training program on Self Control system, Personal Hygiene and infection prevention, Hygiene and
sanitation procedures, Customer response portal and HACCP awareness to all Staff.

Development, Production and Vendor development)

Marine division manufacturing fish & fishery products and mainly exporting to Japan & European
countries in the frozen state.

Key Deliverables:
Being a food technologist handling 10 Fish Vendors, looking after all the activities of QA, New Product
Development, Production, and Supplies & Costing part of all food manufacturer ( Vendor)
Developing the New Products and finalize the specification of New Products and Doing the sensory Evaluation from
Sensory Panel
Knowledge about the costing part of the product ( from manufacturer to DC )
Freezing the costing part with vendor
Review procurement processes of manufacturer & negotiation with suppliers to reduce the cost of product

Responsible to develop the New vendors for supply of raw fish.


Responsible for the deliveries from Vendor to DC ( Supply chain Management)
Regularly visiting to all the vendors to check the production and quality of Product.
Assuring to maintain GHK and GMP in the plant and checking the quality of RM and PM used in fish product.

Responsible for quarterly food safety audit of all food vendors


To provide the support to vendor for external Quality certification.
To ensure that inspection and test documentation ( COA) received from supplier before any dispatch to verify the
standards
Work proactively to improve Customer Experienced Product quality and solve quality problems with the highest
sense of urgency.
Ensuring that supply/ capacities suffice to meet customer demand (Front End) maintaining lead time & fill rate.
Highlights:
Devised new quality audit system developed and implemented for vendor performance as one of the KPI.
Suggested improvement of different food products in terms of good housekeeping (GHK), good manufacturing
practices (GMP) and Standard operating procedure (SOP) to the vendor (food manufacturer).
Key role in approving the plant for EIA certification.
