Civil and Structural

Engineering

1.

What are your career goals?

Short-term goals have always set the stepping stone for me to achieve my Long-term goals. I have
worked hard to achieve my goals by handling complex projects like aircraft maintenance hangar,
industrial plants, residential, commercial and infrastructural projects throughout my career. I am
developing my leadership and mentor skills in my current company. Knowledge gained is never wasted.
Following this motto, as I climb up the ladder of my career I want to develop myself to handle interesting
projects pertaining to Dynamic FEA. My goal is to become a great asset to the firm I serve and contribute
my experience in its growth.

2.

What are you really good at professionally? Please provide some examples.

I have always considered myself to have very strong work ethics. I do not shy away from undertaking
challenges that require extra effort to complete a task. For example, As a Graduate engineer, I had the
challenge to deliver jobs using American codes which were not part of my curriculum in my university. I
accepted this challenge and versed myself with these codes in a short span of time, eventually delivering
projects with great results.

Having worked as a structural engineer and being part of a multi-disciplinary firm emboldened my
management, and supervision skills. For example, in my previous firm I had handled challenging projects
for pharmaceutical plants. I had to liaise with various departments, attend client meetings, direct junior
engineers, draughtsmen and site engineers to successful execution of project within time frame.

3.

What are you not good at or not interested in? Please provide some examples.

Undertaking tasks that do not challenge me like preparing quantity estimation for a particular project.
