Description
The Western Union Company (Western Union) is engaged in money
movement and payment services. Western Union offers one of the easiest ways
customers to send money and stay connected almost anywhere in the world.
Western Union services are available through a global network of more than
485,000 agent locations in more than 200 countries and territories.
Western Union Point of Sale (WUPOS) is an Agent application, pre-dominantly
used by Agents to enter money transfer details to both Send Money and Pay out
money to the customers. WUPOS is the new web-based Western Union Point of Sale
(POS) application that implements the most important Western Union Money
Transfer and Payments Products.
The WUPOS technology is designed to increase speed to market, and make it
easier for FLAs to perform transactions with a simplified transaction process and
flow for ALL transaction types. The technology can help save time for Agents and
consumers, and improve the overall quality of service.The WUPOS offers sending
money from one country to other country in different ways like MIM, Quick Cash,
D2B, Bill payments, Pre-paid services etc.
