Indications
: Bronchitis, bronchiectasis with infection, secondary infections of

Mechanism of action:
A third general cephalosporin that inhibits cell wall synthesis, promoting osmotic
instability usual bactericidal.
Dosage:
Cap (adult and childre n): > 30 kg 100mg bid. Mo re se ve re
o r i n t r a c t a b l e infections up to 200 mg bid. Drops, granules, susp (children): 1.5-3mg/kg
bodyweight bid. More severe or intractable infections up to 6mg/kg body weight.
Special Precaution:
Hypersensitivity to penicillin. Personal or familial history of someform of allergy. Serious
renal function disorder. Poor oral nutrition, elderly, debuilitated patients. Pregnancy and
lactation, children 6 months.
Pregnancy Risk Category: BAdverse reaction:
shock, hypersensitivity, hematologic disorder, GI disorder, Vit. K deficiency.
