happened to me. I was looking at my computer screen at work and it flashes white. I
opened my eyes and the world was grayscale except for me. I ran into a strange woman
with white eyes. She said her name was korma and she's from another universe that
needs help. She said that Stephen, no idea if it's the same, agreed to help. I too agreed
to help. She said we have 24 hours to collect things...that was about 10 hours ago. Am I
just going crazy?

Nope same thing happened to me at lunch. We are apparently capable of taking on an

aspect of a hero of legend. and wielding the weapons of said aspect we can take the
fight to whoever this douchebag is.

Despite the blackness you feel a compulsion to walk forward. After a few steps a point
of light appears ahead of you and as you walk it get larger. As you approach you realize
it is another archway, but this time with a purple-blue shimmery wall instead of a full
opening. The compulsion forces you through it and you appear in a large room made of
stone (much like the one in the image below... but replace the minstrel in the photo with
the woman in white). Around the perimeter of the room stand 20 alters, five on each
side of the room. The inward facing side of each alter sports a bronze plaque. Above
each alter floats an item, each unique from the. There appears to be no doors into or
out of this room save for the stone archway that you walked through, which contains no
light now. Each of you walks through one at a time, mere moments apart First is
Freeman, wearing everyday clothes. Next is Yilfielle, wearing everyday clothes. Followed
by Tera, wearing everyday clothes. After which comes Dustin, wearing a hoody and
dressed for work. Followed by Tyler, who looks like hes ready for a camping trip with a
backpack and a sleeping bag. Sixth is Desiree, wearing everyday clothes but having a
bow, quiver, and shoulder bag. Following Des is Stephen, dressed in a grey armor
hoody with a backpack and a metal baseball bat. Eighth through is Richard, who looks
like hes dressed for the apocalypse; wearing a headwrap, a shemagh around his neck,
a loaded backpack, a camalbak, a katana, a wakazashi, a pistol holster with a 1911, and
a medical bag. Next is Tim, who looks to be dressed in everyday ware but with two short

focus in long range skills. Despite the setting or conditions, The Marksman always lands
the shot." She glances around the room, "Simply having the relic on you is all that is
required... you do not necessarily need to wear it."

She looks to rick, "The artificer was skilled, but that skill does take time. Depending on
the act it could take a few mere moments, or it could take days, or even weeks. If you
are looking to make something from scratch you will need all the materials to do so... if

you are looking to merely enhance an already existing item then you simply need the
item and much smaller amount of time."

"Can the artificer enhance other relics?"

mine was? Maybe me going with the want is a good idea, then... but a "bag of holding"

"I'm also looking at how things will work on diferent universes, most will work in
medieval fantasy, some may work in future sci-fi. Before I make my decision I'd like to

that's the closest I've ever been to that."

I look around the room, at everyone. They've been talking among themselves for some
time. Words are traded, and from them my heart drops little by little. "Explosions?" My
eyes wander and I traverse the diferent statues, their items, the plaques set before
them. My rounds are made after inspecting each of them, and I look back at the group.
"Korma, I take it the bad dude you told me about has already started on our realm? By
chance, do you know if any of our families have been hit, and did you say that the" I
gesture to one of the items passively "items here will imbue us with more than what the
plaques describe?"

Stephen

~Stephen also bows his head respectfully to Korma~ Goddess of Chance. Like Tymora.
That is comforting, I always liked her. ~Then looks to Tyler and Kayla with a quiet
smile.~ "I think I know where I'm supposed to go." ~pointing to the Archivist Book~
"But I'm flexible."

"I think I'm gonna read through more of the plaques for a bit. Sorry guys."

Tyler

"Nuke would have hit my family ... we just have to fix things." *sigh* "You sure you want
to be the group nerd?" *my smile sorta comes back."

"Nothing to apologize for Arms we need to make sure we are prepared"

~Stephen puts three cards down and looks confused~ ~Puts three more cards down
and looks slightly sad.~ "Unsurprising." ~Puts three more cards down... then instantly
scoops them back up.~ "There it is." ~Packing the cards away again and moving to sit
in front of the Archivist Book.~

"Yeah, Arms - take your time and decide. Everyone helped me no problem - no harm in
giving it good thought - others still haven't decided yet. Stephen... you're totally the

and we need to know about them"

Artificer can enchant items." Looking to freeman, "Each aspect is fairly well captured on
each plaque, but the full extend of a person's character cannot be summed up in so few
words. The relic is merely a representation or tool of the aspect."

"I'm good Stephen, I'm just commenting that it'll be useful. Elementalist is quite useful
too"

Looking around the room, "Keep in mind, any mage will require a creative mind to be
able to weave what they need... a closed mind will merely limit yourself."

"I could totally see that, now that you mention."

"Well we should try not to double up I feel... I could go swordsman or knight."

desire to spread out."

"Would I be granted a weapon with its power?"

"I've read it but our relics will provide equipment too...."

"Like Korma said though it takes a creative mind to use magic. You may have other
thoughts that Arms doesn't for elemental magic. I mean if you want a shield for the
arcane blade create one with magic. An example I can think of is make one out of a
sheet of air to block ranged"

She nods, "Yes, each relic will grant its aspect appropriate equipment for the
environment you end up. This includes weapons as well as survival gear."

Tyler

"Oh I'm quite sure I have diferent thoughts on how to utilize the magics ... but at the
same time would it be better specifically choosing a path?"
"What do you think Desiree?"

Desiree

"I think Skirmisher suits you or Arcane Blade. I think you have the creativity to make the
blade something super useful, if you stop to think about it. But I feel like the Skirmisher
will come more naturally to you."

"Almost sounds like the skirmisher is the flash"

I nod, and move towards a statue with a leather collar in front of it, eying it wearily. " Do
we uhhh... Do we have to wear the items as normal or can we accessorize in a more
pleasant manner?"

"She said we didn't have to wear them, they just had to be on us. And they'll change
with our environment."

Tyler

"Aww you don't wanna rock the sub collar?"

*I move back to the jade sword* "This one .... I like how it feels."

"So Tim Tera and myself still need to choose, I'm heavily leaning towards artificer"

"I fancy it as a bracelet, really." I think for a moment. "Huh. Does the Mender imply that
she can imbue power, and is not limited to healing?"

*I touch the pendant and try and get a closer look at it, especially the gems embedded

as if he's having a conversation. Then he pauses and stretches.~ "Um... I'm gonna pace

As everyone continues to talk I resume walking, looking around the place and the
diferent statues and their plaques again.

could make people see anything."

going to be in my universe so I won't be able to interact as much"

*sits down and leans up against the Elementalist pedestal* "I'm going to get a little

other personas. Which doesn't help in the choice now, but I feel this is more of a
spiritual pick than a mental one anyway."

"Korma, what exactly are our first tasks task when we arrive?"
Brian

"Your tasks are what you decide to do... my advice would be to locate the artifacts and
remove them from the temple they reside in. There are two that shield the third. Should
you decide to take a more direct approach you could go after the Archmage and prevent
him from coming to your world in the first place. Given that he has the ability to bridge
our universes he is likely very formidable."

"you may choose to all go together or to split up, but know that once one artifact is
removed or destroyed the archmage will be aware of it, so it may be easier if you try to
do the first two at the same time."
(Kayla stands there simply holding the white gloves of The Mender but not removing
them from the pedestal... despite attempt to)

"If we are to be placed at random areas, will our relics and their knowledge help guide
us towards these temples? What's the chance that we are placed somewhere... Uhh, not

"You should be placed near a temple, but how close is unknown. You will need to find
the temple once there. You should not be place in an inhospitable environment."

So for the first two relics will be splitting up correct and if so what are the teams

"... Should... Not? That bodes not well for our heroes... Uhh, I think once we figure out
who is taking what aspect fully then the team's can be evenly dished out."

on magic to fire. Also, will our bodies change to represent physical strengths or
weakness?"

"I am unsure what will happen given I've never done this before... Typically aspects are
chosen by people from your universe and the person is made within mine. You will be
actively going there so I am unsure."

"Hmm... Corey, want to give a test fire?"

Yeah thats fine but i dont think theres enough room to fire this of in here safely

"Just so you guys know there may be a world we enter that has firearms, not just
crossbows and bows"

I nod. "That is true, but if the guns do not shoot that means that either the physics
behind the shooting don't work in the world or we will have to spend time modifying the
guns. Also it may help to lighten our load of they end up not firing.'

"But if I take the artificer, and since we already have the weapons I can enchant them to
work" I give a smile

"That is also true, and could be time consuming. Korma, how long would it take an
aspect of the artificer to learn an enchantment they may not know?" I furrow my brow in
though, eyeing the statues and pacing them again.

"I too would like to know, but I have this feeling that if I take the artificer that I'll end up
being carted/driven around while I make all the enhancements we need"

Tyler

"Quick question ... clearly people had the chance to bring non magical weaponry into
your realm ... how will the inhabitants react to it in diferent ...uh zones?"

Logan

"We are asking a lot of questions to the god of chance. At some point we should just
begin the exploration followed by a light murder."

Tyler

"Well I am worried ... and are you saying we murder inoccents who either don't know
what we have or just view us as armed and dangerous?"

Ronney

"We don't know if we face innocents, and I think he was joking."

Logan

"We have been sent to murder this fellow. I would like to get in and murder him so I can
go home. This is just like deployment, the more we pussyfoot around the longer it takes
to get boots on ground."

"We where sent to stop his plans ... by destroying artifacts or by convincing him he is
wrong. I've never taken someone's life... I will but I would avoid it if I can."

relinquish themselves until everyone is decided on one, unfortunately. As for convincing
him... According to Korma, the guy wants to destroy both universes. Maybe he'll be

between our universes... I do not know what will happen to your items when you cross
fully into mine. I am not sure how inhabitants would react should they see something
not from their world." At logan, "A good plan is likely to yield a higher chance of
success... Also as I mentioned earlier a direct assault upon his personage would likely
result in large loss of life. Your task is to simply prevent him from using the artifacts to

Tera had passed through the portal and looked both immensely puzzled and incredibly
relieved at the gathering of her friends. Clearly, she had expected a bunch of strangers
on the other side. She spends most of the time listening, her eyes flicking from person
to person as they talk and make choices, trying to follow the conversations (and most
likely failing at it most of the time). When Timmy appears, she moves towards him to
pull him close, murmuring soft words to sooth his anger. Finally, the choice comes
around to her. With a deep breath, "I could work with either Arcanist or Oracle. Is there a

group preference as to which might be more useful? Is anyone looking to pick whichever
one I don't choose?" She gives a wink and a grin to Stephen, "Normally, I would fight
you for that book... but I think you're the best of us suited for it."

"Tim do you want to be beastboy? Or do you want to fight sword and board? Tera, take
Oracle. I know you love information divining. We will need as much information as we
can."

"The Oracle might be able to allow us to time our destroying of the artifacts so that they
both happen at the same time. That would lessen the chance that the mage guy could
swoop in on whichever team does the second artifact.

line battle experience and tactics with the exception of Corey who is our squad

berserker, mender, oracle, knight. Team 2: elementalist, marksman, artificer, dragoon,
beast master, and archivist. Team 2 has more due to less magic users. Let me know
what you think "

"I ran a diferent set up due to the power of Mender as a healer. Team 1 Archivist,

for beastmasrer to find food is crazy good

You guys see me start rooting through my bag. I pull out some paracord rope. I walk
over to the Artificer and start looking at the items next to it. I scratch my beard and take
some measurements with my feet. You see me wrap the paracord around the shadow
cloak. I walk back to the artificer item with the rest of the rope and cut of the
remaining. "Well I'm ready whenever you guys are"

"Um... can we go over final team setup again? Sorry guys... I need to know who I'm
going with since it was just decided. I was distracted by these gloves."
"There was a lot of talk of moving folks around... I just want to know where I need to
go!"

"Team 1; archivist, artificer, elementalist, dragoon, marksman and knight. Team 2;

berserker, mender, oracle, beast master, arcane blade"

Desiree

"Team 1: Stephen, Ricky, Dustin, Tim, Cynda, Corey. Team 2: Tera, you, Me, Tyler,

"You shooting for both the cloak and the artificer?"

"It's the closest to the artificer, potentially I can take both." I look to korma "yes I know
you said we can only have one, but you also told me we are more powerful than you.
I'm also fairly certain pulling us in this way is not normal. So we may be able to break
the rules of your world"

Tyler

*I pull rope from my backpack* "Might be worth a shot?"

Richard

I shrug "why not?"

Tyler

"Worst comes to worst I lose my rope." *I go to the skirmisher shoes and weave the rope
into the shoe laces... undoing the rope back to the jade blade and tying it around the
handle before taking hold of it*

(for those wanting to know what is near each relic... they are ordered the same as the
chart. First 5 are along one wall, next 5 are along next wall clockwise, and so on)

"Eh it'd be better to chose something that would assist more then." I untie the cloak and
take out more rope. I walk over to the wand (Arcanist) and tie the rope around it. I walk
back to the artificer. I smile. "Ok now I'm ready"

(I have added to the sheet to include a small diagram of the room... each box is 10 ft...
each relic is numbered... so for rick to do his line he is running it in front of stephen)

we go into our chosen item ... I don't feel like being split."

After I see it running right by Stephen I decide to undo the rope and put it back. "It's a

Tera moves to stand in front of the glass sphere.

*putting the rope back in my bag* "Well everyone has felt their items ... uh "voice"

"Yeah, my gloves feel really calm and caregiving. It's right up my alley."

"Well touch it... like my sword has so much power it exudes it."

"I guess I haven't actually touched it." I touch the artificer's tool kit.

"Wait, what? I must have missed that part." Tera also reaches out to touch the sphere
with a fingertip.

"Interesting. Yeah, my gloves just feel incredibly soothing and calming. Tell me what
yours feels like. That's honestly why I was sitting there like a goon for a minute holding
on to them. I'm nervous and they feel pretty great."

"It's like .... a generator." *I run a finger down the blade* "it makes me wonder how long
the items stayed here ... unused or forgotten."

"Touch it huh?" There is a moments hesitation before contact is made with the

I let go of the wand and fall to my knees breathing heavily. "Guys I think I may be more
suited to be the arcanist. I stand up slowly. The artificer has minor healing and potential
to create things to share but the ability to use all forms of magic... That is basically
instant healing vs having to be prepared. That's also access quickly to many other
things."

"Dude. Go with your gut."

"The pedestal wasn't lying Kayla. I can see everything in such crisp detail. I can predict
movements. The details. This must be what Korean star craft players feel like."

"I don't know about spirit in particular but the wand, showed me woven together and
instinctively how to manipulate that weave to do whatever. I could see how each weave
blended from one color to the next as they passed around each person, thing, and
energy in the room."

"That's pretty amazing. It would have been cool to have gone that route, but these
HERE gloves are amazing! I ain't want no knowledge of destructive magic anyway. Go
with it if it's what you feel, Ricky."

"If it allows you access to another form of healing I say go for it. It could also shake up
the teams since if Freeman goes berserker he will need some form of healing."

"I don't think the teams would need to change as The beserker would still have the

I look around throughout my walk and take note of the diferent reactions everyone has
with respect to their relics. A sigh escapes my lips, shoulders sag a bit. "Well, I guess
there's no better place than to let loose, I guess." The gentle patter of my feet stops as I
approach the leather collar. "It was either this, illusionist, or shadow. Most likely we will
need this." A hand slowly extends and gingerly touches it, and I wait.

Logan

"If you prefer others we can build around it."

"Preferences are excluded when necessities have to be met. I'm content with this, just
uhh... Don't blame me or think diferent should this thing change my temperament"

Logan

"I can play as tank for team the team and shuffle Timmy to teen girl squad

I shrug, still in thought, and wait for a reaction.

Stephen chuckles and puts his hand on the book. Pauses... then nearly falls over. But
kind forces himself to fall forward to keep his hand on the book. "Yep." He whispers. "I'm
good here."

Ronney

I stagger slightly, eyes widening. After a moment I nod, and then go towards the silver
circled to touch it, followed by the black cloak.

"... Teen Girl Squad is best squad. Tyler, chill out."

Richard

I pace around the room contemplating. "Let me know what you choose Freeman as I
may not choose Arcanist"

Ronney

My route finds me back at the collar. "I'll take this one... " I go to grab the leather circle
and remove it from the pedestal.

Richard

"So I think all but me have decided. I feel that artificer can make items for everyone
including healing" I pace back and forth talking to myself out loud. "But Arcanist has
access to all magics, technically so does artificer." I look around the room and walk to
the artificer's tool kit.

Ronney

"Why not alchemist? Seems you could make everyone cofee based on that. Maybe
some food shakes of we need nourishment. "

Because I can make a cofee machine to do that

Ronney

"That sounds like a lot of work as opposed to mix mix sw-" the collar refuses to move. I
roll my eyes. "Right. Everyone must be decided."

(As rick walks over to the artificer's kit each relic chosen begins to glow and then
vanishes... reappearing in the hands of the one who chose them... rick the artificer's kit,
Tera the glass sphere, Timmy the large shield, Cynda the telescope, Des the wolf pelt,
Tyler the jade sword, Kayla the white gloves, Dustin the jeweled pendent, Freeman the
leather collar, Stephen the leather bound book, and Corey the goggles)

"Ha! No but for real mages apparently have to touch the weave to do spells."

My brow is furrowed in concentration, contemplation. After some time, during

everyone's discussions, I sit down, staring at the leather collar.

"You okay over there? Hehe with the angry sub collar?"

"I have known Freeman for a very long time. I have seen him angered. I recommend not
antagonizing him while he has the aspect of the Berserker. Who knows how it has
afected him."

"Yeah ... I don't think we have full access in here but I'm only playing with him..."

*I sit and furrow my own brow and plop down on the floor, with face clearly curious. I
stare intensely at the gloves*

would make sense I don't feel the original owner of this relic was a normal man. I'm
good but this original dragoon blows me and my family out of the water."

"I don't think everything is magic, but if you're seeing a color, your seeing a type of
magic."

*I panic for a moment, hug my sides while sitting on the floor, exhale audibly, and blink
several times. I slap my face lightly as if seeking external stimuli, and sink back into
staring at the gloves* "... just a moment, friendship."

"No, this was a person who was a feared combatant and master tactician. I'm seeing the
minuscule movements you make and it registers in my head, tells me what your
muscles are doing and allows me to predict your movements. It's like watching a video
in slow motion. Only in real time. It's Neo when he fights Smith and can block
everything with one hand."

"Can it register magic? Like you can read my actions but would you be able to keep up
when magic is involved?"

inhales deeply to set the rhythm and closes his eyes.

possibilities that could exist if magic instead was used to perform processes in the body
- accelerate/decelerate certain responses, kick adrenaline, etc. ... - what caused you to
become acquainted with these gloves...?" I shift and slap my forehead. "I never
considered the diference in diction. My apologies."

"Holy shit it talks! This relic has been passed down the family for generations?! Timmy
you mad genius!"

"Your probably talking to one of the people associated to the relics... like Alabaster...
he's an air mage who died to a mage trying to get some books."

I continue to space out, lost in conversation. "So who are you, exactly...? Sorry for
spamming you with so much information about what I'm thinking as far as body magic
is concerned... I'm sorry if any of these questions are intrusive... I was just curious who
you are and what you did... how you came across these gloves... well, as much as you're
willing to tell me. Are you even alive?"

"You don't need to talk out loud..."

"Oh! You're talking to someone associated with your relic, Tyler? My gal I'm chatting with
here's name is Serena Amador... my bad! I always like talking outside of my head if at
all possible. Y'know, keeping myself honest and not getting lost in thought. Maybe a bit

"Do what makes you feel comfortable Kayla." I say keeping my eyes closed. This is a

"Right ... our items probably have names given to them by those who seek them ... but
you are just talking to people who died welding them."

traveled tactician. She is experienced in killing elementalist that were employed against
her."

I pause for a moment, and look at everyone. "Get to know them very well. Apparently if
you die you take that person's place inside the relic."

Yilfielle

"Oh... I'm learning more about my gal. I'm just asking some questions... my brain's in
chemistry mode. Roche's metabolic pathways sheet is ping ponging around in my head,
all swirled up with creativity. This is fascinating."

"Kayla, was... Sabrina? Was she killed by a beserker?"

"Actually was anyone here-their relic- were they part of an entire team elimination by a
beserker?"

"Frem... more on that in just a minute, okay? I'm chatting with her for more
information..."

"Eh mine was killed looking for some books... it was by a mage and I'm not sure if it's
the one Stephen has or not."

Logan

"Good to know Freeman, I'm interested in getting underway. I want some practice with
the weapons of the Brickguard." After a few moments of contemplation he answers
Freeman. "Negative Freeman an arrow shot from no where. Far beyond where it could've
come from."

"Um... my gal was killed by someone in the middle of the night in her apartment - they
were concealed in a black cloak so she really couldn't see them... I have no idea why
someone would have done that, considering she was an amazing renowned doctor who
cured generals, dignitaries, all sorts."

"No magic - just a small blade, she says."

"Mine was killed by someone with the cloak too."

"Hmm... I wonder... Do any of the relics know if we are the only people to take the
aspects? Like... Can the big bad have his own people take what's left?"

Korma looks to tyler, "What can I assist you with?"

"Korma is probably limited in her knowledge. Apparently deities shouldn't be able to talk
directly to us. Ginny - what I'm calling this collar-, thought I was an elemental.
Apparently I'm crazy."

Tyler

"Do we need to fear these unpicked relics being used against us?"
Brian

"I do not know. What you see here are the relics that exist. They also exist out in the
worlds of my universe... but only one of each. Since you have selected your relics, they
do not exist in the world, but the others do."

Tyler

"Okay so we have fear of them being found and used on us... Hey that's just peachy."
Brian

"Found... they may already be bound"

Tyler

"Oh... wait we didn't steal these from other people did we?!"

"I dunno. I saw the moment they died. they were killed by the assassin while trailing an
arcanist . The assassin killed them, and the arcanist killed the assassin..." I trail of.
"Wait. Have the people possessing these relics tried to kill the Archmage we're going
against now?" She directs the question at Korma.
Brian

Korma, in resonse to tyler, "you have not stolen them from anyone... you are the ones
they are bound to so no one else has them." Towards des, "Yes, not by my guidance, but
typically when a mage becomes incredibly powerful and are independent they can be
viewed as a threat to a nation... The Archmage was one such person."

Ronney

I wrap the leather collar around my wrist, making it into as much of a bracelet as I can.
"Stephen, I recommend you and yours research ways to control or revert a beserker
through magical means..." I pause for a moment, as if listening to something. "Also...
Look up whatever information you have on the shadow relic, and if it can hide bears and
other relics from detection... "

"Errr... Shadow cloak thing."

(The, now bracelet, shrinks to fit snugly around your wrist)

"Huh." I say to myself, turning my wrist, examining the bracelet.

~Nods~ "Once we are somewhere we can settle, we will need to make a list of what we
need to know. Unless you've got a few years to spare for me to enjoy my book. There
is... a lot to cover. Also if once you all have proper documentation of the stories of your
Relics and their previous owners, I would like you to share with the book. As it would
probably help it be less snarky with me."

"Well I'm good to go whenever you guys are. Until we figure out a way to contain me
when I'm left unable to control myself I won't tap into its power. Ginny apparently took
out a few fighters, their healer, and the elemenal mage that consisted of their team and
was killed in his sleep by a bear that was undetected, and apparently Ginny was really
good at the survival and wilderness game. I'll still gather what info I can. Maybe that
take will satisfy Mr. snarkums some."

"I'm not looking to buddy up with these past lives just yet. I want to explore it on my
own first. Though we should all ask if they know anything about the Archmage." I look to
Korma. "Speaking of exploring, do you have any idea where we're gonna land. Even just
the terrain?"

"I do not know where you will end up." She says to des. Adressing the room, "do know
that a person's name has profound power in my universe. To know your name can give a

mage powers over you. As such I cannot give it out. However, should you desire to take
me as your patron diety I can grant you boons in exchange for oferings."

each session of rambling

"Yes to the realm bit, and I'm a bit hazy on the other if I told Ginny or not... Why would a
past aspect know less than us?"

Snapping out of my focus on rambling upon hearing my name, a confused look sweeps
across my face. "Um, I'm not sure if I use spells Tyler. I'm going to check with Sigfreed.
As far as larp goes. Who goes by what?"

Logan

"I'm not forcing names. Pick your own. I'm sticking with Cynda or Cyndaquil."

Dustin

"Okay, Cynda it is. As always, I'll go by Arms or Armtyom."

than Shikoba, Aidyn or Abbie, and she was an archer. Can't really beat that."

"It's okay Giz, currently our survival is more important than preference. Especially
without the arcanist to stop anything dangerous like that."

While listening I pull out some waxy looking paper from the kit and take out my phone
and start taking pictures of the papers

you are wanting. After you leave here I won't be able to communicate any more and my
boons will be restricted to my domain... chance."

I look back to Tyler, "Aboslutely Giz, having one whom is focused in aether would be
useful. I plan to make a bag of holding too. Just note magic items aren't any more
durable than regular items. So a magic bag can catch fire just as easy as a regular one"

"Well I was going to use the sword to cut into a storage pocket ... less likely to be

knee. "Korma knowing that you saved our lives and are giving us the chance to save
both our worlds, I will accept you as my patron Deity."

"Pleased that you have accepted Mr. Artis." Korma says before bowing towards rick. Rick
is then wreathed in a soft white glow that fades quickly.

"I will accept none. No disrespect intended. Uhh... As for names, I guess Aldred is fine.
That or I can toss a couple other names out there. The usage of Aldred is something I'm
unaccustomed to, so please forgive me should I not register for some time."

"No big deal bud, gonna be hard for me to stop yelling out 'Frem'. Also I'm going to try
something out real quick guys so don't freak out."

in a diferent Deity at a juncture. Have to figure it out in time."

*shrugs* either I can't weave spells here or I'm going to be the worst at magicing things

"I'm pretty sure we don't have full access here"

"... Which is why we should wrap up this show and tell, and start doing the things." I've
got my pelt draped around my shoulders. "I can't do shit in here anyways to practice.
No animals."

"I to require us to get moving. Let's get this started so I can kill this archmage and die in
my house."

~Tucks the book carefully into my backpack, gathers my things, and stands~

I stand back up from hiding. And gather myself towards the center of the room. I turn to
Corey "what are we going to call you Corey? I gather the rest of my things and turn to
Korma "Well Korma, what's left, next?"

Tyler

*I move over to stand with desi and kayla* "Yeah ... mission Intel or something?"

Logan

"Easy, we are being dropped into who knows where to find two of the three things to
make it harder for the archmage. Vivi, and Dremen will be our intel in the field.
Everyone has the skills to keep us fed and watered. We just need to practice and
prepare. This is real people, you need to be absolutely ready to kill. I hope all turn out
okay."

Corey

Just call me Lupus for now. So we all clear on what we are doing any questions

Stephen

"Talk fast, pretend like I know what I'm doing, hope something cool happens. Same plan
as always."

Yilfielle

"Don't talk too fast, focus! My jams."

Korma nods, "Some of you already know what you are going to be doing... but to inform
those who do not know, You will be going to various parts of my universe to locate two
temples. These temples will be heavily guarded and likely trapped. Within the two
temples reside two very powerful artifacts, The Rod of Jupiter and The Shield of Seyrath.
Removing both of these artifacts will allow you entrance to a third temple. Once one of
the artifacts is removed it is likely that the Archmage will notice and begin hunting
you... likely starting at one of the temples where the artifact was removed from. You will
then be in a game of chase to find out where the third temple is and how to get there,
all while avoiding the Archmage. Once you locate the third temple you'll need to get
inside and remove its artifact, Luway's Dice. Once those are removed there should be
nothing left for the Archmage to use in his ritual. This will complete your quest and any
survivors will be returned here. Should you die your essence will be taken into the relic
for the next person to take up the aspect and learn from. Should you decide to instead
take on the Archmage himself you may do so, but know that he is a very skilled mage
and, though you may defeat him, there will be heavy loss of life." She pauses for a
moment to answer any questions that may have come up from this.

Tyler

"So let's minimize on the whole loss of life thing.... and just play artifact defence."

Corey

I nod in agreement. "I understand. We still need to decide if we are keeping the teams
the same. I feel we should, but I do request that whichever team I'm on goes after the
rod of Jupiter as my aspect is the one who created it."

Tyler

"What do the artifacts do on their own?"

Richard

"I know the rod controls the weather"

Ronney

"You're asking specifics from a goddess of chance. If there's a chance that something
can happen to the possible mix up of teams, we all have to be ready and prepared."

Yilfielle

"Alrighty."

Richard

"Agreed, the best we can do is be ready. As soon as we cross then we shall have more
information."
Brian

"You will HOpefully be sent in the teams you request... simply go through the portal in
the on group, and then through the portal as the other group. But only when you are all
good and ready. Should you want any assistance from me this is the last chance to do
so. Should you want to back out, this is ALSO your last chance to do so."

Richard

"Korma I assume your boon has already been applied to me?"

Brian

"No, you simply have pledged to follow me... you have given nothing and asked for
nothing."

Richard

"I see" I pace back and forth scratching my beard contemplating.

Tyler

"Don't think about it too much ...that's how I'm handling this whole situation. Hah haha"
"Let's get on the road trip buses. Huddle in kids ... let's make sure our groups are
touching when they go through."

"That depends on how much you wish to ofer up. It could be something as simple as
you happen to always find loose change to cover your bar tab to stumbling across
someone's true name..."

Tyler

"Damn..."

"That must mean the opposite is available to others should that book be given. If you
have a chance to find someone's name, they must also have that chance I guess?"
Brian

"There is always a chance something can happen... for instance there is a chance that if
you were to pick a random length of random letters that you would spell out someone's
true name."

Tyler

"Who does the arch mage follow?"

Richard

"I understand, there is nothing I ask for then. Thank you Korma" I turn to the rest of the
group. "Are we ready?"
Brian

At tyler, "That is not information I have or can give..."

Tyler

"... hmm okay. What do you take as oferings typically?"

Brian

"Anything you are willing to give up as long as it has value to you. Giving up of yourself
is what is most would classify as an acceptable ofering."

"I'm ready also, team 1 let us know when you're ready" I go to stand next to the portal

"Welp, lets fuck this cat." He shakes his head and follows Artis.

I shake my head..."having a chance to find things we need could be useful." I take of

my necklace. "My father gave this to me after he came back from Rome." I walk over to
korma. "Perhaps this would be a worthy sacrifice as this is the only thing I have to
remind me of my parents." I hand over the necklace. "I would ask for the chance to find
the materials I need at the right time for crafting"

"Korma, will we arrive at the same time, or in the order we walk through?"

While everyone is talking, I take my bow out of its soft fabric case and string it, stuffing
the case in my bag. I begin doing small maintence things to it while everyone talks,
waiting to go. As Cynda approaches the portal I stand. "I'm ready."

Dustin

* I join my team in waiting at the portal* "ready."

Korma slowly takes the necklace, "are you sure this is what you want? What you are
ofering is absolutely worthy of up to a certain rarity. I just want to be sure this is what
you want."

Richard

"Unless you can give me the ability to alter and see weaves to make magic items
without the need of a mage, yeah this is what I would like. Anything to assist us getting
to the Felecia and defeating the archmage"
Brian

"Very well." She raises her hand and places it on your forehead then removes it after a
moment.

Richard

"Thank you Korma." I walk over to the portal, "I'm ready whenever you guys are. Team
one is still waiting on Dreamon and Titus"

Korma looks at freeman, "To answer your question from earlier, goodman Aldred, I do
not know for certain where you will end up or if you will in fact end up in the groups you
have assigned. You SHOULD arrive at about the same time... but I cannot guarantee
anything."

Ronney

"So the order we walk in doesn't matter? The first to leave won't necessarily be the first
to arrive?"
Brian

"They should be... but I cannot guarantee anything as there is a chance that it wouldn't
work out that way."

Ronney

(I'm gonna switch from 1st person to third person writing) He rolls his eyes followed by a
deliberately slow movement of standing on his two feet. "Miss Muse, I think it should be
you or myself that should go first and whoever doesn't should go last... Giz? You should
probably be the middle man, in case the odds are not in our favor and the middle
person arrives first. That way our oracle and mender have a lower chance of being

thrust into potential danger first. Thoughts?" He asks, eyeing the second team while
strolling towards them.

Stephen

"Sounds good." I draw an arrow from my quiver and hold it. "I'll go first since I'm the
only one with a weapon, just in case." I look to Korma. "Though I would hope you're
dropping us someplace with relative safety so we can acclimate."
Brian

She looks to des, "I cannot guarentee as such, but given you have at least on of my
followers with you, you should likelu be fine."

Tyler

"Oh we will be fineeee." *I wink at Korma* "I'm like the best follower."

"Kayla right now you and Tera are high priority for our team and we have to mitigate
any danger you two can face. Muse and... Giz? It's gonna take me time to memorize
that over Puck, sowwy... Muse and Giz have weapons with the wherewithal to take
defend themselves, and I can take care of myself should the need arise. This is a good
setup." Aldred looks around and positions himself towards the rear of the group.
"Ready."

Ronney

"Tch... Aki! Damnit. I'll get better at this, I promise."

Yilfielle

"Well... I mean... I can defend myself... that way folks don't have to go first! I mean, I'm
alright with it..."

Desiree

I huf. "Aki. This is serious. This isn't about you going first to protect the group. If you're
going to throw yourself out on the front line and put yourself in danger in a misguided
attempt to protect us, then you can stay here. I don't want to have to worry that you're
gonna get yourself killed. Your place is to heal." My voice takes on a serious tone.

Ronney

"Muse, I think our team is completely ready. Nip this in the bud and just go. We'll follow."

Yilfielle

"I got it... I'll go when y'all need me to. I wanna be the most efective I can, ultimately. I
can do my protecting utilizing these gloves."

Corey

She's right Aki think about it you're one of are only medics, who's going to save us or
patche us back together if you're dead think smart keep a level head you got this
Brian

(I'm going to hold on advancing until I hear from Tim. Just in case there's something he
wants to get of/out before you guys split up.)

"Alright, buddy. I will!" I exhale, looking resolved to the plan.

Tyler

"I'll go first to cover our muse here."

Yilfielle

"Alright, be careful."

"Didn't we just decide I was going to go first? Am I taking crazy pills?" I knock an arrow.
"Is this a manly 'I'm going to protect the lady' thing? Because you can knock that of
right about now."

Tyler

"I mean I have a sword if we get jumped... and like magic or something.... If there is
something and you miss I don't want you hit."

Desiree

"Fine! Fine. This cloak has me antsy. It's all primal and agressive and shit." I take a
breath. "I have a feeling it's not just going to be Aldred we have to worry about getting
too agressive." I give a sort of half smile.

Tyler

"I give you a zap too oh angry one."

Logan

"I think we can all agree you are no lady Muse. A lady is of noble birth." He said cheekily.

Tim

Which ever group I'm in I would like to go Thur the portal first because I'm the one with
a shield

Now that everyone is ready to go, you assemble into your two teams... team 1
consisting of Tim, rick, stephen, dustin, corey and cynda... team 2 consisting of Tyler,
Freeman, Kayla, Tera, and Des. Team 1 walks up to the portal which suddenly shifts from
the blue-purple glow to being a strange starry sky looking image. Team 1 locks hands
and then walks through in the order their names are listed. After they walk through the
portal shifts back to the blue-purple color. As Team 2 preps the portal again shifts to a
starry night looking image. Team 2 locks hands and stepps through in the order listed.
As you step through walks up to the portal, everything goes black for a moment and
